Well just b/c they stay with Jack doesn't mean that they are the ones getting off the island....but I think its weird that Rose would want to leave.

I think Rose and Bernard won't leave the island anyway, even though from what it seems she doesn't trust Locke she won't want to leave the island because of the fear of her cancer coming back, which makes me question why she didn't want to go with Locke, in season 2 they were close because they both shared the fact that the island healed them and now she doesn't seem to want to go anywhere with him.

It comes down to the fact that Rose has always trusted Jack as the leader and as a friend. He saved her life, he's been there for her, always caring...even tho she shares something in common with Locke, she still doesn't understand the decisions he's made (blowing up their ways off of the island, killing Naomi in front of them all) and doesn't trust him, so regardless of if she wants to leave the island or not, she's going with Jack because she doesn't trust Locke with her life. At least that's what it seems like to me.

So would guys have gone with Locke or stayed with Jack? I really can't say who I would go with..hmmm need to think on that for a second.

Yeah. I think if I were put in that situation with everything the losties have had to go through I wouldn't know which side to choose.

Kidding. But knowing what I know now, I'd probably go with Locke. I mean, it seems like the boat people are a bit devious and Ben does seem to know a lot overall, and even he seems to be scared of the idea of the boat people coming. He tried to kill John and now he seems to feel safer with him than Jack....I dunno, I think I'd go with Locke. I think the guy has good intentions, even tho his ways of dealing with things are a bit unconventional.

I would be tempted to go with Locke though. A house, Sawyer =P

I would trust Charlie's message. Who on Earth would lie about something like that? Not him. Though it'd be tough 'cause I wouldn't be too happy about being on "Locke's side" and I would trust Jack. But then again, Jack just went crazy and tried to kill Locke O_O They're in a tough sitch. The freighter people don't look very threatening. And Naomi didn't seem to be evil at all! So I'm kinda confused about that. That's another point. Just because it's "Not Pennys Boat" doesn't mean they're evil. But I also believe Ben. He was in a panic to get his "daughter" away as quickly as possible.

lol I agree!

I don't know which side I'd choose. Because I'd want to get off the island. But after finding out that those people aren't who they say they are, I don't think I'd want to meet them.

I'd probably go with Locke just to be safe, I don't trust those people

I'd want off the island, but not with these people who don't seem to want them to get off. I'd go with Lokce a) because I believe Ben. He was sincerely scared and wanted Alex far away from the freighter people and b) because of Charlie's message. And the fact that we saw Penny saying it wasn't her boat. I wouldn't be thrilled about being with Locke, but then, I wouldn't be thrilled about being with Jack either.

And like Sassy said, Sawyer did go with Locke...
