Yeah, really. This is a sad thing, but I was shocked to see how incredibly nice and helpful everyone is here. I swear, I haven't met one mean person (or they haven't acted mean anyway). This is an awesome site!

Agreed. I mean you ask one question, and someone answers immeditetly, and their answer is so helpful. I too was surprised at the over flowing kindness I was given when I needed help. I'm overwelmed by the constant advice that everyone gives! Anyways a great amount of luck to the contestants..sorry the subject has been changed randomly!

I've seen that on other forums (not in those abbreviations but I've seen people get all capslocky over it: "SEARCH BUTTONNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!" ). What sucks is usually you can never find what you're looking for with the search button so I just usually avoid asking questions on those forums 'cause I don't want to be yelled at!

Re. flashback characters, I'm still campaigning hard for 'Hurley's (Stacy's) Mom,' plz. Someone has to do it. (If nobody does, I will, but I bet a bunch of people could make a funnier vid to that than I.)

Yes, we do already have a contest picked for September. The rules will go up as soon as August closes. We particularly liked the flashback character idea but we ended up going with a different idea than was being discussed here, which hopefully you guys will still like! (But never fear, many of the ideas generated in this thread end up seeing the light of day, if not right for the next month's contest, then down the line. )

thefilmchick: I read over the lyrics and I agree that it's a hilarious idea, and I'd love to try...but I just can't think of who's POV I'd do it from for the life of me and how to make it...plus, the idea calling Hurey 'Stacy' just cracks me up and I forget what I'm supposed to be brainstorming...any ideas and I'll consider it (tho I'm not the most amazing vidder )

just a thought, with the time difference (since im in Aus.) when will the contest end? cos if im giong by me...today's the 31st and midnight is...seven hours away. but i doubt thats when the contest closes...wow, im confusing myself now...
