I've never denied Kate's affections for Sawyer. I took issue with the "just friends" comment made about Jack and Kate. As I said earlier, it would be stupid to say that about EITHER couple. It especially bugs me when people refer to their relationship as "brotherly/sisterly" and actually imply that them getting together would be incestuous. Now, nobody HERE did that (as far as I remember) but the whole "just friends" vibe sort of implies a similar idea.

I don't even think I've ever commented on Kate's choice between Jack and Sawyer. IMO that choice is "him or me." That particular choice was never presented.

Barring talk of choices, I don't deny that K/S are in a relationship. But at the same time, I see Kate and Sawyer getting together as largely based on circumstance. I'm not just saying this because that's how I want to see it, but the cast and creators themselves have said as much in interviews. They didn't say that's the only reason, but they did say that circumstance helped to dictate that outcome.

Did you see my latest icon batch? I so totally iconned Skate. In fact, I rarely icon Jate. Some people at eljay have even thought I was a Skater before.

I don't think ANY of the Jaters here have tried to say that Kate actually picked Jack. So I honestly don't know where that is coming from, Aislynn. I know I myself haven't said anything to even imply that. I do know for a fact that I said that I felt that Sawyer saying he loves her, probing her to say the same post coital, was totally Un-Sawyerlike and therefore not very believable and just a bad choice on the writer's part. Aside from that, I don't know what myself or anyone else here said specifically that would make you feel like we were implying that Kate "chose" Jack.

Just because I talked about how emotional and heartbreaking the Jate scene was and didn't squee over Kate rushing to help Sawyer on the beach doesn't mean I'm denying/ignoring it. I just didn't comment on it.

Haha, Ruth you said that? I didn't see that. I was saying the "just friends" thing reminded me of those 'brother/sister' comments I'd seen elsewhere but couldn't recall seeing it here.

I totally agree with all that you wrote, 'cause I feeling absolutely the same, and I happy that I'm not alone with that, 'cause I'm already starting to think, that I'm like a crazy person, who don't see that actually Jack and Kate are in love, and Sawyer is like appendix in this triangle , who don't sucrifice his life for Kate either 2 two times in this season, but everybody was forgot about that. Only one hero in this show exist - it's Jack.

I wrote a long post 3 pages back, why in my humble opinion Jack and Kate have deep connection, and why in a moment for me it's a friendship. I have said that I could be wrong with my statements, and said that this is normal, 'cause we all have different opinions.

But can I say what really bugged me the most, that actually after that no ONE of Jaters here even try to discuss...All reply's was like - Jack and Kate are 'not "just friends" - "end of the discussion" ... (and can I say, that in no of my posts I even don't mentioned word "just")..
I was feeling myself like I'm a stupid skate moron, who don't see anything, I said that it's mine opinion, and that is all. If you don't agree with all that I wrote, ok, I could leave with that. But when you even don't discussing things, and just saying - you wrong, "end of the discussion".
I was feeling myself outgage, like you was closing my mouse, and that my opinion is wrong opinion, end of the discussion. (and in every my post I was't even bashing your opinions Jaters, but all have limits I think).

But I'm sure that this was adressed to me in first place. Actually this was the first time, when I heard that I'm not a good vidder (even when I'm only starting vidding no one was telling me that I'm bad vidder, just because all stuff that I start to creat, I creating as much better as I could always) I don't know, I must be in the hall of fame to be a good vidder in your opinion If that so important (and for me it never was so ) I need more 4 golds to be there, and so what? I could do two 'good' quality vids in a month, but I'm not working only for lost, 'cause it's not interesting for me to vidding only for one tv show .

and Borislava , I agree that everyone could work with whatever he interested in working. But I only said my opinion, and was trying to defend some awesome skate vidders..and I know some profecional vidders from youtube, who are skaters too, but they are just don't interesting in vidding for lost..for me skate vidders bashing just confused me, 'cause it even was't in topic of discussion. I'm not a person who would agree with smth like that

CC - I agree it would never ends ..well may be only in last episode of last season..But I'm sure Cuse and Lindelof will creating smth confusing again even in last episode, they are masters on such things

Savannah, I don't understand why you're feeling that we are all dismissing what you're saying. I mean, maybe you feel like that because we don't agree with you. But trust me, that's not the case. And I don't think Elle was singling anyone out or that she even meant what she said about the vidding. It was just a *snort*haha* comment.

I just. I have seen "shippers" argue and say hurtful things and brush each other off and dismiss the things they say and call each other crazy etc. etc. Luckily I've been on the "observing" side of that story. It's not pretty and like Ruth said, regardless of ship I love this place. One reason being that we can have discussions like this without people acting like wackos. Which is what happens on most forums I've been to. We get PASSIONATE here about the show but we don't usually get mean.

In conclusion: Jack/Tom/Sawyer = ot3
