She will probably be pissed with Ben, but if she had grown up with him since practically birth as her father, there's no way that the bond between them could be broken that easily. Even if she IS angry with him. It won't be that simple. She seems to trust him and not some of the others, like Pickett, who act out in irrational ways. Maybe Alex knows something about Ben that we don't.

Can I say that Mattew Fox was really adorable and even handsome in this episode (I can't believe that I'm saying this , 'cause I always thought that he is not attractive. IMHO)

Juliet - Well, on Jack's place I would't trust her. What I don't like about this character is that she can go through a murder for her own interests (like "kill Sawyer and Kate" if needed, "please Jack kill Ben" stuff, she lied to Tom, than killed Picket) I think it's to many for one poor woman IMHO

But even so I see some romantic sparks in Jacket ship, and I like that, she is absolutely perfect woman for Jack (I telling that not because I'm a skater) ...hmm I already thinking about Jacket vid in the future

I love Jate scene also, it was very touching, but I'm sure not many people will agree, but this episode proved me that Jate is a deep friendship, but not love (again it's only my opinion)

Ok, and my favorite part
skate stuff was fantasting, especially how Kate and Sawyer was holding each other , when Picket was going to shoot Sawyer.

And can I say that this guy from Juliet episode...what with his eyes??? It looks like he used black eyeliner

OMG YES!! I meant to write that! It was SERIOUSLY bugging me. I couldn't focus on what he was saying - I was just staring at his bottom eye lashes. He was deffinatly wearing eye liner.

Regarding Jate. We all see what we want to see I guess. I don't see anything in that scene that suggests a "just friends" vibe. But there's nothing explicitly "we're in love" about it either. It certainly was a heartbreaking goodbye, showed that they both really care about each other and that leaving each other behind is something that hurts them both very much. Jack by being the strong stoic one so that she could be free and Kate by not wanting to let go of him (in whatever way you think she's holding on to him, romantic or otherwise.) On the other hand, if Jack and Kate were "just friends" there would be no triangle.

Yeah Im with you KC on the Juliet issue...was this episode supposed to make us feel sympathetic? Cause I dont. Shes a bitch, period. Even Ana as a bitch had a reason...we saw glimmers of her humanity...she was f*cked up and knew it. Juliet is like a sociopath...clinical, cold. And yeah "have them killed" rather than let them get away??? Psycho...

I think you mean Jen, Ruth. I didn't mention Juliet. But while we're on the subject. I agree that her flashback made her seem much more human. On the flipside of that, it may be diversionary. The writers want us to trust her, to feel sorry for her. I mean, the fact that she sorta kinda revealed that she was being held captive as well is trying to give us the impression that she was once where Jack was. That she is just like them - a prisoner.

Sawyer was spot on about her. Danny and Juliet weren't exactly friends, per se, not that we could see, but they were colleagues. He was disobeying an order and she shot him cold. Not a lot of hesitation or even reaction.

That's why I'm very slow to warm to Juliet. She doesn't react. She speaks in monotones (which I'm sure is purposeful direction) and when she does show amusement in her scenes with Jack it seems very dry and rehearsed. (Again - perhaps a purposeful play by the direction?) Even her angst feels like a line.

Her flashback shows her differently, but like I said, maybe it's a misdirection.
