I constantly think about this, randomly telling myself "Abby - you need to keep a list of your all-time favorite songs". But then I never do it. Because it's hard to pick only a few and then have to put them in a particular order.

So instead of doing that, why not just list them, without any particular order - just songs that you love, that you listen to over and over again and never tire of?

Having said that - what songs are on your All-Time Favorite list? (In the spirit of High Fidelity, I could ask for your top five, but again - that's assigning numbers & ranks and I don't want to do that).

Anyways - I'll start it off:

"Hey Jude" by The Beatles
"Under Pressure" by Queen/David Bowie
"1979" by Smashing Pumpkins
"In My Arms" by Rufus Wainwright
"Rudie Can't Fail" by The Clash
"All You Need is Love" by The Beatles
"Train in Vain" by The Clash
"Jesus of Suburbia" by Green Day

And omg, a whole host of others. Might have to add to this list if I think of more...

Can't wait to see your guys' picks!! Bring 'em on!!

The only four that I can think of at the mo. are:

"The Greatest Love Of All" - Whitney Houston
"Dance With My Father" - Luther Vandross
"Wind Beneath My Wings" - Bette Midler
"Thats What Friends Are For" - Dionne Warwick

Theres loads more lol but I just can't think right now I love all the old tunes that get played at family parties too
