Since ~tis the season~ and I'm a huge fan of Christmas, I thought it'd be fun to start a Christmas/holiday movie thread.
What movies do you like to watch during the holiday season? My personal faves are Home Alone, The Polar Express, and The Santa Clause! Plus classics like A Charlie Brown Christmas. _________________

Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, has to watch 'Miracle on 34th Street' at Christmas time. I have been doing that ever since I was little. It's THE Christmas movie and it always makes me teary!! |

I FLOVE Christmas movies. My TV at night is stuck on the hallmark channel because they play them A LOT.
I love cheesy Christmas movies but there's also just plain bad ones too.
I love Prancer, All I Want For Christmas (The older version) Christmas In Connecticut (Remake) Miracle on 34th Street (Remake but I like the original one too). A Christmas Story and Christmas Vacation.
I enjoy Elf and other too.
I also really love thsi one that came out a few years ago called Most Wonderful Time Of The Year; about a cynical woman who's uncle comes with a guest (A very adorable guest), and he changes Christmas for everyone. It's a really cheesy and cute movie. |

Both of those are good. I remember watching Scrooged when I was younger and getting so freaked out. You can't go wrong with Bill Murray. |

I love that part at the end when they all start singing and Bill Murray is singing to the camera. It's a bit of a darker xmas movie but gotta love it. _________________

I cry EVERYTIME he signs to the little girl.
And I cry every time he speaks a foreign language.
A LOT of people hate the difference but I understand it. It made it more modern and easier to relate too because I believe the language he spoke had to do with all the invasions that happened in Germany. It made sense to change it. |

Bad Santa is a good 'darker Christmas movie' I watched that last night. "I'll make you some sandwiches." I don't know what by that always cracks me up. |
