Hmmmm.. the episode was okay. The flashbacks were pretty boring though. I thought Jacks tats were gonna mean something big, thats why they kept it a secret for 3 flippin years, but they don't mean anything huge. It was kind of a let down tbh.

I learnt 3 things in this ep:

1) The writers are beyond corny/slushy/younameit
2) Kate needs to be kicked in the head. Like, hard. (the whole Jate/Skate thing is just getting ridiculous now. I don't even know who is ahead with the points anymore)
3) Bai Ling has obviously has a boob job (I mean come ON)

LOVED the Jacket stuff! SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Those were the best parts of the episode - especially when Alex and Jack were talking and then they got Ben to save her life.

I think they beat Jack up because the tattoo girl's work was sacred and certainly not for foriegners. I guess it could also be she was more than a tattooist and her brother suspected Jack of taking advantage.

I thought the tatoo meaning was good because it gives us and insight into who Jack is. I mean. Reluctant hero like WOAH! Angry! I liked that about it. I mean, we got that about him already. But the ANGER! is kind of new. As an audience, we think maybe Jack's angry because he's being pushed too far. And maybe that's partially true. But this tells us that Jack is just plain angry cause that's who he is. Get it. I couldn't hear the other words she said.

But the way they went about revealing it was a bit over the top. They focused too much on the girl, and not enough on Jack himself. I think the whole point of his Phuket trip was to try and ESCAPE that leader/hero that he is in the "real world" and they didn't really illustrate that as well as they could have.

And him refusing to help Ben and Juliet at the beginning was kind of a mirror of his Phuket trip. He doesn't want to be THAT GUY. He never wanted it. He still doesn't want it and by GOD HE'S NOT GONNA BE THAT GUY! Buuuut in the end, he surrenders to destiny and he's the hero anyway. Poor Jack, come to mama.

Well i like the episode...i expected something better but it was still a good episode.
But i still don't like Juliet!!!I just can't help it!....It's stronger that me...in the moment i see her i just...feel...i don't know...i can't stand her!And believe me it's not because i'm a Jater...it's something else...well never mind...i really can't wait to see the next episode...

LMAO! I don't get her appeal. Not only is she questionably talented. (Minus "talented") She's not even that pretty! And don't even say it's cause she's willing to take off her clothes, cause there are plenty of actresses out there willing to do that!
