Okay, here's the thing - marvelous beat use. And fairly good fit to Sawyer.
BUT - this was not the whole 9 yards. It was missing one crucial thing - story. I mean, the vid was a character study, but it really didn't do anything but show random Sawyer clips that happened to fit each individual lyric... it didn't have an overall point, or something to build to, you know? This was evidenced perfectly with the fact you used a clip of Shannon and Sawyer right at the end at the most dramatic moment of the piece - why would you do that? The song is so emotional, and you started it out as Sawyer talking to Jack ("I will let you down") but you never finished that up... you just left that ambiguous and moved on to another facet of Sawyer's life (or more accurately, another person ). And if you're gonna do that, then what did you really do to the vid in the first place? There were no real "wow" moments where the lyrics made the viewer go "wow, that's so true!", and aside from some amazing beat use skills (you have some POWER vidding!) there wasn't really that much in the vid that couldn't just be replaced by you making a post on the forums saying "okay, picture this - a really well vidded vid to Johnny Cash's 'Hurt' done to Sawyer. It fits him so well!".
For that, I can't give you a gold. Though your skills in every other area dictate I should. If you can accomplish making that connection though, and work towards giving a real [i]point[/i] to the vid, you'll be unstoppable.

Really well-timed beat use, wonderful lyrical interpretation and an all-round fantastic character study. Nice work!
