[quote="thefilmchick"]Julia: So apparently you like the video? I can't tell.
foxy9: Thanks! Glad someone else likes Fogerty/CCR. Surprised someone hasn't done Run through the Jungle yet, speaking of fitting songs, especially for (a negative view of) Flocke. If you want it, take it. Lyrics:
Someone did have a Run Through the Jungle video up on youtube and it was awesome but I'm pretty sure it got deleted. Great minds though, I searched for it! There's also the CCR song that starts of "747 flying out of the sky..." Makes me think of Lost all the time

Run Through the Jungle (Creedence Clearwater Revival, 1970)
Whoa, thought it was a nightmare,
Lo, it's all so true,
They told me, "Don't go walkin' slow
'Cause Devil's on the loose."
CHORUS:
Better run through the jungle,
Better run through the jungle,
Better run through the jungle,
Whoa, Don't look back to see.
Thought I heard a rumblin'
Callin' to my name,
Two hundred million guns are loaded
Satan cries, "Take aim!"
CHORUS
Over on the mountain
Thunder magic spoke,
"Let the people know my wisdom,
Fill the land with smoke."

Kate: I bring dad rock to LVI.
Jemma: Glad you liked it!
This was brilliant, Kate! Really love your lyric and beat use. And I agree, the song was a great choice! Fab job!
Wow, I loved this, this was really, really awesome in every single way. I love the song choice, my dad actually walked by and heard me watching it and he said he loved this song and started singing along with it!
Nice song choice!!! Love Fogerty! Perfect Flocke vid!!
Just watched this again. Love it, love it, love it!!!
Back! With iced tea and coconut M&Ms (still prefer a Mounds bar, per spam thread). Thanks, Serena--glad you got a kick out of this one too!
I'm also happy that you stayed interested in watching--I'm always concerned when I start with a bang that things might taper off; it's good to know that this one apparently didn't taper too much!
Like I've said, this is your best yet, Kate. The water texture was perfect: not too much or little, but just enough to compliment the vid. The steady beat use was perfect too; it kept me interested in watching. The idea you had for switching from Locke/Flocke to the smoke monster in motion was great; it really helped to make the connection of the two being one. Fantastic job
Glad you enjoyed it, Paul--and congratulations for getting the point of the texture! (I tried it with a bit more black, and it made a lot of the scenes--especially the dark ones--impossible to see.) The song was dead-obvious for Flocke, anyway, hence...
I really liked the animated texture you used. It was like the smoke monster moving across the screen. Maybe a touch of black would have made that more obvious though. The lyric use at the beginning was really great too. The song was great for Flocke well done
