I'm Your Man by ZeroMuch

I made this vid because I find Locke to be conflicted and conflicting. Leonard Cohen just seemed like a natural choice for the song.

While this isn't one of my personal favs, I still think it's a little quirky, like Locke himself.

I didn't personally ask for a lot of my vids to be here, and I'm sorry if I've taken something away from anyone. I did find some of the comments to be hurtful, but it's nothing I can't get over. I normally just say, "Hey, nice picture quality," or something similar if I don't like someone's vid, but I'm no critic, I suppose.

Thanks for ALL the comments, good and almost good

Besides were really nice! I mean anyone who actually takes the time to vid and is inspired to do so is part of our community, and we are never "mean".

Wow. Just when I thought Leonard Cohen couldn't get any more creepy you add Locke. That's just awesome! Interesting, though, such a song for such a man. I'd like to know how the idea came to you.

I also enjoy its quarkiness, funniness, strangeness, and well-doneness. And I actually rather like the song, inspite of the cheesy synthesizer.

I agree, I phrased that a little badly... but either way, I think since 2.0 has started, the overall quality of all the vids that come to us, including the ones that don't get through, has increased incredibly, probably more due to the increased ammount of footage more than anything, but nonetheless.

MoreLight, I didn't actually find your comments offensive. I guess this is the one that I was most concerned about, "but then again that was during the first sweep through all of these. I can safely say that the new ones we get through could kick ass and take names compared to many of these first videos..."
Probably not meant that way, but the comment comes off as dismissive of the vidder.

I do like constructive criticism myself from other vidders but I do it all privately and that works for me. What works for me doesn't mean it's the right way for anyone else.

Anyway, thanks for letting me express my concerns and for the opportunity to discuss it. Always a good thing to clear the air when something is bothering you.

This video has an extremely strange song but it works on many levels. I enjoyed it because of it's quirkiness.

I admire your choice to try something a little different and break out of the "popular" song bracket.
