i wish someone also wrote a song like that when i die
Charlies_Innocence & HobbitRockGod, thank you both so much!
Wow, that is such a good, sad video!
Awww, so sad! Almost made me cry.
not really a big Des fan, but who knows?
Youtube or Zshare? If Zshare is buggy I can upload another version - maybe that one hung for some reason.
(Hm, something germane about your vid - well, you did 'Whiskey Lullaby,' so how about broadening your alcoholic repertoire - 'The Old Black Rum,' by Great Big Sea (probably Desmond)? Or how about Jimmy Buffett - Margaritaville?
Yup, no worries. I get ya
It was taken so dam long I refreshed the page and then it loaded quickly, weird :S but i reviewed
It worked, as far as what it represented. Like, it made sense. Just seeing 'talk, talk, talk' was a little distracting, is all.
(Man, and that's a short video of mine, heh.)
I certainly do take that as a compliment
Have to admit, I'm a fan of audio and i have been known to overuse. But watching it back, i can see what you mean. I kinda wish I had started it with lots of C/C yelling scenes. But that scene was meant to represent their final break up, the one that sent Charlie down the boozed up path. But Im grateful for your imput
one word; YAYS!
My net is being slow today
Reviewing by request:
I think the end part of the video was very strong. Some nice visuals: I liked the photograph, and I liked Charlie and Claire walking off, and the 'she put the bottle to her head and pulled the trigger' stuff with Claire and the injections.
Despite the country ballad thing, the video doesn't go sickly-sweet and syrupy (though it gets close every now and again), so that's good, as far as the tone of the video is concerned; you balanced the 'weight' of the video well, if you will. I didn't feel like you were shoving a ship down my throat or anything, so take that as a compliment.
The beginning part with all the talking bugged me, and I think a lot of the more striking camera shots and such were in the end, so there was a slight balance problem in that there was a slightly weaker start and stronger finish. However, I did like it, and despite being shippy and weepy, it didn't make me run screaming, so good job!
