Dust in the Wind by PsychoCynic
- "Dust in the Wind" 06-23-2006Everything he’s done has been worthless. Desmond set out on a race to regain his honor, but ended up losing everything. A Desmond-in-despair vid.

Glad you enjoyed it, Giuly!
Thanks for the kind comment.
I like it! Congrats!
Thanks for such the sweet comment. It was too perfect a song not to use for Desmond, I thought!
*weeps* That was so beautiful! I loved the effects you used and the song was perfect. The ending completely did me in! *sobs*
Aww. Thanks so much for the sweet comment, Lost Freak 4815. I like this song too. Quite melancholy.
Dude, I love this song! Good work on the video! Good choice of person to have the video focus on.
Elle, thanks so much for giving me such a sweet first comment! Really made my day.
Thefilmchick, thanks for your insights (I'll definitely keep a look out for those things in my next vid) and I'm glad you liked the new effects though I'm not too sure which is the "watercolor" effect you were referring to.
KajaM, I liked the song too and I'm glad I could make a Desmond vid that you enjoyed with it. Thanks for your kind review!
I always loved that song and you made a really wonderful vid with it!
Love they way you used the effects and the moment when he "kills" Kelvin and is all desperate afterwards made me feel quite sad (I liked Kelvin
Good work!
I like the watercolor effect about 1/5ths in - I hadn't seen it yet in any other vids, and it doesn't look overused. I also like the overlay btw the lines of text on the computer and Desmond's face (just like ItV said! Heh.)
Some of the shots are a little too quick for the song, but not often; similarly, some could stand to be a bit more contrasting (keep in mind however that I am watching it on a laptop, which isn't exactly the best screen in the world.)
Lastly, on the last verse, you handled the chord transitions in between the lines well with the quick shots - when the letters are drawn out etc. - that caught my eye at any rate.
Oh yes! First to comment
Loved it! I liked the way you lightened and darkened different clips, depending on their atmosphere
Great vid PC - Really.
