The mid-eighties Los Lobos song and a Sayid video. Believe it or not, Tejano rock music and an Iraqi soldier actually play off each other reasonably well.

Will the Wolf Survive? was yanked off of YouTube about a month or two ago for copyright infringement. Anyone have a copy? As this was a really beginner's-level video, I'm not that sad about losing it, if not, but when/if I get around to remaking it, a reference wouldn't hurt. Thanks!

This was the second video I ever did (after Poor Poor Pitiful Me), so please be nice to it. I know there are a few choppy cuts - will edit it when/if I get the opportunity.

Posting up lyrics as well, since they were slightly hard for me to make out the first time I heard the song:

Will the Wolf Survive? by Los Lobos

    Through the chill of winter,
    Running across the frozen lake:
Hunters are out on his trail.
    All odds are against him.
With a family to provide for,
The one thing he must keep alive -
    Will the wolf survive?

    Drifting by the roadside,
Climbs each storm and aging face.
Wants to make some honest pay,
    Losing to the range war.
He's got two strong legs to guide him.
Two strong arms keep him alive -
    Will the wolf survive?

    Standing in the pouring rain,
All alone in a world that's changed.
Running scared, now forced to hide
In a land where he once stood with pride.
But he'll find his way by the morning light.

    Sounds across the nation,
Coming from your hearts and minds.
    Battered drums and old guitars,
    Singing songs of passion.
It's the truth that they all look for,
Something they must keep alive -
    Will the wolf survive?
