Another jun vid from you and this one from Jin's POV (there's so little jin vids out there. I don't remember ever seeing one!!!)

I loved it. Great song (I love muse!). Really nice lyrics interpretation, great beat use as always and great effects (as always.

)

Loved the "fade away" the star effect... it really looked like Jin was chasing star light!!!

ok, I could go on and on but the kids are calling. I'll continue later.

First off, you really didn't have to dedicate it to me! I hope I wasn't too demanding on you for this vid.

Um, jeez, where to start. Well,

1. I love Jin 10x more because of this. Sometimes the Sun/Jin plot on the show seems boring and trival compared to other storylines and flashbacks, but you REALLY took everything that was great in their plot and amplified it. I loved the turmoil and angst in the "our hopes and expectations // black holes and revelations" lines. The clips you choose for those sections were really well too because the music slowed down significantly and the drama of the clips added to that.

2. All the "hold you in my arms" scenes made my heart flutter. Obviously, Jin is just a very misunderstood hopeless romantic (with a bad temper).

3. I really liked it how you made it seem that Jin knew all about Sun's affair. The way he contemplated what he had done/was about to do to her lover in the car was great. Also, the way he flashed back to Sun/lover in the line "I don't know if it's worth it anymore!" Nice!

4. Best scene/line: "I will chasing a starlight until the end of my life." Nothing in the entire vid could have hit the point that Jin loves Sun and would do anything for her (like swim after her in a desperate attempt to save her) than that very line. Amazing interpretation and the starlight effect was great too!

5. Your editing of the song worked really well! If I hadn't heard the song 100 times before, I would've believed that was really it!

6. Beat use = awesome.

Exactly what I was looking forward too!!

Hmm, I can't think of anything to say right now, but I bet something else will come to me.

Just recently read somewhere that singer (and composer) of Muse watches "Lost." lol. I'm sure he'd give this vid 2 thumbs up!

Well, anyway, just wanted to sum up with:
Marvelous work and thank you for taking this request of mine; you did the couple and song more justice than I could've imagined!

(Also, I'm going to pimp this out to some people on LiveJournal because I mentioned that someone was vidding Starlight to Lost and they wanted to see the final result! Hope that's okay.)

Cinthia: You're absolutely right. There should be more Jin vids!!! I didn't like him much when the series started because he was treating Sun so badly. Due to the flashbacks, however, I came to understand why he's beeing so harsh sometimes and hell, that poor guy has been through a lot of bad things!
I'm really fond of him and his passionate love for Sun now.

First of all, thanks for suggesting this song!! After "Fading like a flower" I really wanted to do a vid from Jin's POV but I couldn't find a good song. Then I saw your request and I knew this song's just perfect for a Jin-centric vid.
Then, thanks for your patience!

It has taken me quite a while to finish this vid, mainly because I had (and still have) a really busy time at the university. I had a great time working on this vid though and I hope you don't mind that it has taken me a bit longer to finish it.

Oh, and yes, unfortunately I had to shorten the song a bit because it was too long and I was running out of good Jun-moments. I'm really glad to hear that the editing works quite well.

And of course I would dedicate this vid to you. I'm sure I wouldn't have thought of this song without you, hon! Thank you so much!! *big hug*

I hope I'll make a little more sense now!

That was such a great song for Sun and Jin (especially from Jin' POV). You managed to make sense of the lyrics which were not that obvious sometimes! I love the shots of the plane and ships during the "This ship is taking me far away" The zoom-in were great! And talking about the zooms, my favorite part were at the climax of the song where you had all those black and white zooms. Very powerful.

I can't believe how many times Jin and Sun hug and kissed. I love that ship but I must admit that I forgot many of those tender moments...

. Lovely, just lovely. "Jun" is such a romantic ship. And I was like you... I hated Jin at the beginning but he's a perfect example of a character we learn to like through his flashbacks. He's great and a really decent person. Oh and thank you for including the scenes with Jin's dad... that must be one of my favorite scenes ever on lost (I'm a sucker for father & son love!!) and it's never used in vids.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for making not one but two amazing Jin/Sun vids. I'm eternally grateful.

Looking forward to your next one. If it's half as good as this one, I'm afraid I'm going to pass out.

Beautiful job, Kaja! That has to be the first vid I've seen for Jin that was as much a character vid as a shipper vid!

I agree with Ais you don't see enough vids from Jin's POV as much as Sun's. Can I be the party pooper and say I am not a big Muse fan although I like some of their songs and this is one of them
