What's interesting is that there was a gender poll on Lost Forum, and when everybody voted it consistently stayed at around 30% and 70%, females in the lead. So I started a gender poll on the Fuselage- and the exact same percentage results came up. Well not exactly you know, but more or less.

But before I start to assume that the whole make-up of Lost viewers are made up of 70% females, I wanted to try another poll over here. Just for curiosity reasons.

The thing is that 70% is the result only seen on those two internet forums. The same probably can't be assumed about people who aren't nerdy enough to go on the boards and talk about it. Or this place...the vidders' place... but my predictions are the percentages here will be about the same.

I'm Female.

There always seems to be more females than males on any kind of forum though, it's strange.
Although, here, there seems to be more males than usual, so I have a feeling it may be a little different.

I know what you mean about there seeming to be more guys on this site than on many others. Until I came here, every other site I'd been a member of was completely dominated by females. I'm pretty sure that one Lord of the Rings site didn't even have any male members who ever posted regularly.

This was a great change when I found LVI, where it's got much more of a mix of male and female!

I'm a girl! I think the majority of people involved in fandoms are females... I don't know why. But that's something I noticed too... more girls than guys involved in message boards. And I think it's the case with vidding too, I believe more girls than guys do it.

My boyfriend wouldn't get involved in Lost message boards even if he likes the show. However, if there ever a Lost video game realeased... that's another story.
