"Lost and Confused" 06-13-2006
Parody: If Richard Linklater directed Lost. Monologues by Kate and Locke. Heavy on both comedy and the so-wrong factor. Strong language and multiple drug references.
Song: Dazed and Confused by Richard Linklater

oh my god! that is the funniest thing ever.

That was a really good-no GREAT vid. The lip synching was awesome. You really have some talent. And the characters you chose for each of the lost character was perfect too. Mathew McConaughey's voice was perfect for sawyer.

I really hope you get a golden council pick for this, you deserve it.

That was really well put together. Good work. I really enjoyed the part where it looked like Locke was talking about George Washington. Keep it up.

I knew that people would love this one.

You did a great job. The lip synchro is so well done and Locke's monologue is hilarious! Love it!!

That was my thought too. They sound WAY too much alike, so I totally had to capitalize on it.

Locke has the best facial expressions for that anyway, at least IMO. And it sounds like something he just might say, which only makes it better. In fact, the George Washington monologue was the thing that told me I had to make this. Because, really, you just can't get anymore perfect funny/whackjob theory-style than that.

If I ever do another directorial parody, what should I do? I was thinking of maybe John Hughes or 'Animal House.' Not sure which.

you should do a "Breakfast Club" parody one. That would be funny.

Pretty cool. The voiceovers accurately matched the expressions of the characters. I've never seen Dazed and Confused, but I have a friend who loves it. And it sounded pretty funny (especially Matthew McConaughey/Sawyer and Kate).

That was so funny!! I laugh at Charlie speaking like a surfer (Dude!!!) Amazing lip synching timing. And the character's face expressions match perfectly.

Officially doing a 'Breakfast Club' parody one now - got all the soundclips for it and everything.

The one thing I can't figure out: Just whom should I cast as John Bender, the sarcastic "criminal"? I totally can't figure that one out!

(Actually, I've already cast all the parts. Heh.)
