It's a nice song you chose and I like the sad and depressing mood of the vid.
There's one problem I see here though: The contest topic was "Parental Issues" and we never get to see neither Sawyer's mum nor Shannon's stepmother.  In Sawyer's case you used the letter to show his "parental issues". In Shannon's case you could've used some scenes where she's fighting with her stepmother or the scene where she's in hospital after her father had died. This was a moment which must've had a very strong influence on her life.
All over the vid was well done though, IMO, in particular the ending when Michael gets Walt back while Sawyer is watching them from a distance.

I liked this one. I think it was concentrating more on the emotional scars that are left so it didn't really need to go to the parent's view but maybe that would have been better. Enjoyed the ending and the scenes you used were really good at conveying the emotion of the song. Again maybe ensemble was not the best thing to go for the contest but I enjoyed the vid on its own. Nice job!

I did use those, as well as a bunch of funeral scenes. I just didn't include the stepmom herself. Maybe that made her Parental Issues less readily apparent, granted. I decided to err on that side instead of making it choppier; that was probably a miscalculation on my part. I thought that including the stepmom would make all the 'you' of the first verse being Shannon being less clear or something. Blame the English degree for insisting on that sort of literal approach. 
And Pauly, yeah, I was trying to focus a little more on present-day stuff or at least less obvious stuff. Ah well.
