I just gotvegas and despite reading polarbears guide find it confusing. Where are the effects everyones uses? How do i add transitions? And how do i do two scenes at once? Any and all tips for a beginner are helpful

There's tabs on the bottom left hand side for video effects, transitions, media generators etc. If you want to add text it's in media generators. There's a tip for ya

To get two scenes at once just right click on the timeline and click new video track and then one will pop up under the first one and you can add clips to it.
