Is anybody else freakishly addicted to this game? I've been playing it for a month now and I can't get the hibrid flowers....grrrr.

My son and I play, and we visit each other's towns. We built a snowman together and I give him money all the time. It is such a cute game and I am determined to catch all the fish and bugs.

Like I have said many times before.........I have no life.

I'm pretty sure it's only available for the Nintendo DS. When you turn the game, not the DS, on it says 'Nintendo' in the little Animal Crossing people's voice.

The old one for the Gamecube won an award for something.

It is fun!

Once again, , I am the biggest nerd playing little kid video games.

The DS one is so much better. Tom Nook doesn't make you do so much crap before he's satisfied. And you can sell more than one item to him at a time, which makes paying off your house easier. Try it Warren, I can't stop playing it!

I'd need a DS first and if I have to spend my money on consoles that will go out of date within a year or two, I figure it's better to save up for the PS3 and/or Nintendo Revolution (oh, how am I going to choose??? How can I afford either?! )

Do like the upper-crust and buy both-LOL.

I have always felt that Nintendo is geared more toward family type games. Not that they don't have violent one's...do they? I didn't buy my son and XBOX because I didn't think he would like any of the games for it and I was right. He only plays Mario&Luigi games, Sonic Games, or anything that is role playing type. Tho, he did have a strange attraction to Grand Theft Auto...Vice City when my husband used to play it. When I seen that you could pick up a hooker, I said "That's it. No more Vice City around the young one!" That game is funny tho.

I'm getting one for sure! The only reason i didn't buy a DS at launch was because it looked like a awkward lego brick. Now it looks like a sexy apple product! rock on nintendo.

Oooh, I even bought skins for mine. Kind of personalizes it so my son and I don't mix ours up. There's so many of them on the net, but I went with

DecalGirl.com
http://www.decalgirl.com/browse.cfm/2,194.htm?AFF=G_DS

They had some really cool ones, but some other places have some really awesome ones.

I'm with you E, I love my DS too!

It did? I love that game!!! I only have Gamecube as my current console, and I'm so out of the loop with video gaming these days that I really don't plan on buying anything new. The new stuff doesn't look that promising or fun.

This game rocks so much, I finally bought it.

You don't have to keep apologizing for being a nerd. Nerds are awesome. And Animal Crossing is more than a kid's game, to me at least, LOL.

I have a mansion and the Nook's place is a mall.

YES!!!! A fellow Animal Crosser! I only need to catch a Coelacanth and I'm done with the fish! I was freaking out when I caught the shark, my mom thought I fell or something.

I think it won best new game in 2004. I'd have to look it up. But I remember saying, "Oh yeah! Go AC!!!"

Funny thing is, DS, I'm 31yrs old! LOL. But I have always loved video games. I'm glad you think nerds are cool....nerds rock! Bill Gates is the biggest nerd and he makes more money than I'll ever see in my entire lifetime!

Cool, I'm glad I'm not the only who plays this cute little game.
