I just finished watchign all of BtVS and Angel, and I need another good old show to replace them preferably one with lots of seasons, extremelly well done, and loved by many I'd also like it complete or on it's final season, so I can watch it all without waiting any! (i.e. no "Threshold", etc)
It should also be a part of pop culture, like BtVS was, or Xfiles (hmmm.. maybe X-files?)

Oh, and it's ending has to rule! Damn Carnivale... they can't CANCEL it!

Anyone have ideas?

damn. I'm a HUGE Seinfeld fan and this reminds me I really need to get Curb somehow.

Also on my 'get into when i find time' list is Joss Whedon's Firefly/Serinity.
Joss Whedon? i know, i know, but Firefly is a scifi western akin to Star Wars of which i've heard nothing but good things and i'd really like to check it out. anyone have opinions on that one?

I watched it when it was originally on but didn't stay with it through to when it was cancelled. I don't recall it being a bad show, though, as much as one that just couldn't compete with all the other things I was watching at the time.

None of which I can remember right now...

Wish I would've given it more of a try, though, 'cause it had that whole "unconventional" attitude that I usually like really well. Guess I ought to look it up now that it's running on the Sci-Fi channel, hm?

That's probably not a lot of help, E. Sorry!

And as for the original question... I'd probably -- hey, wait a minute! Did you just dis Threshold???

J/K!

Congrats on finishing both BtVS/ANGEL.

Now as to another show to get into I'd say X Files Warren, it ran for 9 seasons and all of them were pretty good. And the movie was excellent too, Terri O'Quinn is in it.
Or Smallville is another good show to get into as well, they're now on their fifth season. Well if you've seen Roswell then you'd probably like Smallville. Roswell was a good show too but it only ran for 3 seasons.
Umm....lets see, another show......how about Veronica Mars? Sure it's only into it's second season but it's a really awesome show. And season 2 has been going good and steady so far.
Ok I'm out of ideas. lol. I'll get back to ya.

PS - We all miss Carnivale Warren.

Firefly is brilliant. "This land is a fertile land, and we shall thrive. We shall rule over this land, and we shall call it...This Land." (If you don't know the context, that's not nearly as funny, but oh well...)

Watch Firefly. It's excellent.
