I tried to watch a vid on YT and it wouldn't let me; I had pulled the headphone jack out of hte jack but plugged it back in; I untangled the cords...and I don't know if that started it.

So then iTunes FREAKED out and said 'error' sound configuration but the error wasn't up long enough for me to get all of it.

BUT actual sounds were playing like the annoying computer ding sounds.

So I went into control panel and iTunes is fine but Google Chrome isn't. I tried to Google it online but there's not enough of it; someone said to update but I don't have that option for GC.

It's SO frustrating.

I've had issues like that, only it's with my entire computer. Youtube will play the video with no sound, Vegas will play video with no sound, and any of my music devices will either play but the music is dodgey and skips around or won't play at all.

Mine always says that it's the sound card, but whenever I got to do a driver update or anything, it says there isn't any. Usually if I restart my computer it'll work fine when it reboots.

Did you try rebooting?
