I have a few fandoms that are really hard to find the clips for, but I can usually find episode clips on Youtube. I was wondering how do you get or convert these clips so they can be used in Sony Vegas?

I tried a program like Zamzar a while back but it always causes problems with my computer so I can't use it any longer.

Oh, that's a shame about Zamzar because I've always found them fairly reliable. I also like that you don't have to download any software to use their service since they take the vid from YT, convert it, then just send you the link.

I do know there are plug-ins for Firefox for that but I can't recommend any personally. You can go to Mozilla's add-on page and have a look around. I see they have a download management category, there's probably something in there if I had to hazard a guess. I always check out any reviews before I take on any new add-ons and even search it through Google just to see what people are saying about it, if it doesn't work right for a lot of people, that sort of thing.

Good luck, I hope you're able to find something because that's a very handy thing to be able to grab things from YT for vids that you can't get any other way.

You can try www.filsh.net

It's what I use if I cannot get any clips from tv shows or movies anywhere else but YT.

It's a German website, but I think it's not too difficult to handle.

Zamzar gets into issues and wont rip for me but I believe it has to do with Youtube blocking the codes or something. SOrry I don't speak computer as well as I used to.

But the worst is Any Video Converter because they update and you can rip off youtube but then youtube blocks them and they don't update for a while.

I had a look over the site. I think I'll give it a try. Thanks for the suggestion.

Edit:

Just tried the site. The clips I needed came out great.I didn't have any trouble with the site or the clips.
