Okay guys, so I've seen this effect being used alot. I'm pretty sure it's not something that come equipped with my version of Vegas, but it's driving me crazy that I don't know what it is.

The effect is used a few times in this video, but the first time is at about 0:22

That's a transition

you can get it in a trial here, the first one 3D transformations.

Not sure if you have to have at least Vegas 8 or 9 or something to have them work; I have Vegas 10. But once its installed, i think that transition is one of the Spiral ones.

Or its New Blue Motion Blends, the 13th one down, and its one of the Smear transitions
