Same here Paul! My fav of this season so far.
So that scene when Flocke is telling Kate about his crazy mom. Was he trying to tell her that she should continue raising Aaron b/c Claire is crazy now? I know everyone wants Aaron back with Claire. But she's so unstable...I'd rather see Aaron back with Kate. _________________

I don't want to see Aaron with Kate. Claire deserves to have her son back.
This ep was good, not my favorite. I enjoyed the flash-sideways more than the on-island story. It was cool seeing Charlotte! Do you think she just happened across that folder, or do you think she was snooping? If she was snooping, why was she snooping?
(Of course what I was wondering throughout it all was... Where's Dan? And Juliet for that matter.)
Can't wait for next week, it looks awesome! _________________

Not really feeling this one, personally, and Sawyer's one of my two favorite characters on the show. It felt too formulaic. While I enjoyed some parts (Sawyer as cop, seeing Charlotte again, et cetera), it didn't really gel for me and I'm not too sure why.
I think it's because of agency: None of the main characters were doing things on their own behest; Widmore et al. and Smokey were driving the action, and I wasn't particularly enthralled with the Zoe thing. I particularly disliked not receiving an explanation as to where Sawyer and Jin had been for the past few episodes.
Also, if they're going to give Naveen Andrews nothing to do until the finale but to sit there and look spooked-out and sad, so that other characters can be creeped out by him, I kind of wish they'd killed Sayid off.
^ Charlie's Innocence: Charlotte was absolutely snooping, not just innocently looking for a shirt. She went right to that folder after rifling around for it, and used the "Can I borrow a shirt?" (or whatever) excuse as a means to search Sawyer's apartment. _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

Crazy or not, Aaron deserves to be with his real mother. Kate'll probably end up being like the "second mom" to him anyway and Jack will take full responsibility of being the uncle and half-brother.
I'm sure Sayid is gonna do more than sit around in a creepy stupor. It's Sayid were talking!
As for Zoe and the rest of Widmore's underlings, I'm sure they won't last long; Widmore's the only important one and usually all or most of the extras get killed off.
I LOVED Sawyer as an FBI agent with Miles as his partner! And why is LaFluer the "magic word" I wonder?
AH, LIAM'S COME TO GET CHARLIE WHO IS CONVIENENTLY LOCATED IN THE SAME POLICE STATION! That 10 second bit made me literally hop and yelp for joy _________________

I felt like Sawyer being a cop was weird...because he let Kate go in the elevator. A cop wouldn't do that. I am not exciting about the writing on Lost anymore.
Everyone lets her go, no one would let her go. Especially a cop. So I just felt like it was too easy. But that's just me.
And the Claire/Aaron thing. If this was a real setting would you want to see a child with a crazy woman who most likely deserved to be put in a mental institution...I doubt it, at least I would't. His mother or not, she's not of the right state of mind to take care of Aaron. |

shout out for the ConMama squee of Sawyer living at Claire's digs and LOVE sawyer and miles as cops!! But then, Sawyer saw kate in cuffs at the airport and let her go, not very good cop behaviour ;P
LIAM!!!! YAY!!!!
yay for the kaire-ness! the hand holding the hug the tackle
Sawyer and Charlotte? Very weird and made no sense to me lol why not ana Lucia? they had sex on the island. Seems like they were trying to find a way to bring Bec Mader back in and this was all they came up with ;P
the implied skate angst at the cages was very sweet
Zoe? Ugh, quit bringing in new characters!!! I dont care!!! Answer questions; dont waste time! gotta love Widmore tho man i love alan dale, his aussie accent comes through when he tries to do english lol
REALLY disappointed with the claire/kate stuff :S Locke apologizing to Kate about what Claire did? Kate getting no blame, its all Claire's fault and flocke slaps her for being so heartbroken? :S:S Hated that."aaron has a crazy mother?", great, so kate's gonna get him back and it'll be all great for her. Sorry, REALLY bitter about all of that :S Although, Kate won't necessarily get him back since he's with Carole now. Still; if Kate ends up with Aaron I'll renounce this series, mark my words.
Was also annoyed that with Flocke's speech about Claire being so devastated about aaron, Charlie never came up :S it would have added to her craziness :S On that note, no mention of Juliet either :S Plus, way too much wandering around to get from A to B :S definitely not my fave ep; best part was the Bromance between Miles and sawyer _________________

This episode was a BIG drop off from Dr. Linus. To much walkin around and not very much action. It seemed like the writers just tried to cram as many cameos into one episode that they could.
Sawyer as a cop was definitely not planned earlier in the season, considering Sawyer let Kate go in "LAX".
After hearing Smokie talk about his crazy mother, I'm starting to really think that him and Jacob could be brothers, like in the bible.
I was surprised to learn that Widmore isn't on Smokies side after all, I was not expecting that. I'm not sure what Widmore's motives are now.
The ending of this episode was really lame. Lost usually ends with a bang but this was just another stupid love triangle moment that has been played out for way to long.
I am soo pumped to get a meaningful episode next week. That episode is gonna be huge in explaining a lot of the mythology of the show. Can't wait. _________________

I think Widmore has always been for the island. He wasn't banished for doing anything 'awful'. And he always wanted to go back to the island. I think perhaps he knew Ben was evil? Maybe he was good after all?
What I want to know is what are Eloise's motives. She was the one who insistened John Locke be on the plane...but perhaps she didn't know the aftermath. |

*le sigh* about halfway through this, I was hoping it'd end (no! not just 'cos there's no Richard. but that way very disappointing.) I love Sawyer, but this episode didn't really get us anywhere, apart from Widmore isn't team FLocke and FLocke had a crazy mother (*nudges Kat* like Carrie! ) for the second time this season, I preferred the flash sideways more than the on-Island action. I wish they'd had Ana in there though - I mean, she worked at the LAPD, having her there would be amazing, even if she just passed Sawyer in the corridor.
RICHARD NEXT WEEK! _________________
