I am not sure if my question is really a techincal question or if I should have placed it in the artistic video help thread.
I am possibly going to be using the Monk theme song to do a Lost video.
At the beginning of the Monk theme song the letters spell out Monk starting with the O and then the rest of the letters come into place.
I don't know how to explain it exactly but I'd like to know if there is a way to create a similar effect using Sony Vegas.(or another program)
Here is a link so you can see what I am trying to achieve:

I'd like to spell out Lost in the same way Monk is spelled out but I don't know how to do it.

I've never really ever tried this myself, but from what you've described, this should be acheivable with Sony Vegas.
I'm thinking that maybe if you go to Text Generator, and pick out that kind of text you want to use, and then just put in the O, in the position it would be in the full word...and then do the same for the other letters after the O...it should come out in the way that you described.
Like I said, I've never really tried this myself, but just going by what you've said it *should* work. I hope that works for you _________________

Thanks for the help.
I seem to be getting the effect I wanted.
It's actually alot easier than I expected.I just write one letter at a time and fade it onto the next text page with the letter moved to a slightly different place.
I think with a little more work I should be able to achieve the effect I want.
