Anyone know how I can get a colouring similar to this on Vegas?

I think they might have used color corrector secondary with which you can specify which colors you want desaturated and such just play around with the controls and you'll figure it out.

Yeah, I figured it was something to do with colour correcter, I've played around with it but never figured out how to make that kind of colouring. :\ But you say it's something to do with desaturation? (is that even the right word, I'm too tired to think atm :'p) Okay, I'll try that and let you know if it works ^_^ Thanks Paul!

Jemmz, i'm pretty sure that's the same sort of effect I used on my When She Loved Me vid. It's called Desaturate All But Reds and its in Colour Corrector (Secondary). I'd fiddle with the Saturation bar so its not as colourless; unless that's what you're after

Ah well, if Movie Studio wasn't missing a few things, then they couldn't charge the big bucks for the full version, could they?

I actually rarely ever use the secondary colour corrector =P I like the other one better hence why I didn't know how to get the colouring lol

lol; really? i always use secondary because i love the saturation so much

granted it took me like 6 months of using vegas to even attempt colours and stuff, lol

Lol, yeah, I think the second one seems more complicated and I just like the other one for some reason

ive downloaded a sony vegas trial 7.0 to play around a bit for preference but how did you make that effect on shannon exactly kat? what effect was it specifically? because I only get the whole image saturated not just the background

Rosie, I am able to answer that now I know how to do it *dances*

What she did was set the preset bar to "Desaturate All But Reds" and it should do as it says and desaturate every other colour but red.
