Well, it's short. Only 2:11...
And here is the most strange

What about the opposite? Two vidders working on the same vid.
It's me: http://lostvideo.net/vidderprofile.php?vidder=lan-di
and dduke: http://lostvideo.net/vidderprofile.php?vidder=dduked
We've made a video together, 10 days ago. We haven't submitted it yet, and suddenly i realised that it fits perfectly to this contest. Can we participate together with this vid or not? I mean by creating a new account dduke&lan-di and submitting the video once. _________________

That's no problem. There's really no minimum time, 3 - 5 is just our suggestion, and we ask for nothing over 5 minutes.
That'll be fine! We've had vidders do that in the past when they've collaborated with another vidder.
I forgot to ask, you're meaning that this will be your and dduke's only entry, correct? In other words, you're not talking about wanting to enter the contest separately as well, just with this collaborated vid? |

Correct. We're gonna participate together with only one entry from this new account (dduke&lan-di). Not seperetaly. _________________

OK thanks! Just a final matter to inform you about. I just noticed it right now.
Almost all players show 2:08 for example Windows media player.
If i open the video with VLC Player (i'm using it by default), it shows 2:11
And Youtube shows 2:05
This happens because we've done many conversions from 23.976fps (or mobisodes 23.970fps) to 25fps, and each other of me and dduke were using different programs and different methods. Now, every program handles the video with different way and shows different lenght.
The real lenght is 2:08 and that's the one i'll enter into the submitting page. So, don't get confused. |

I get always this error when i'm trying to submit it: Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /home/.veggie/lostvide/lostvideo.net/submit2.php:2) in /home/.veggie/lostvide/lostvideo.net/submit2.php on line 4
and the video does not appears here.
If the video hasn't arrived to your database, inform me to continue our talk to tech help. |

Hm, not sure what that error is about but we do have the vid. Let me see if it'll post.
(Oh and that's quite all right about the differing times. Like you said, different programs and such can take different readings of the time. ) |

It posted fine, so it must've just been a glitch on the part that should've showed you the vid as it was waiting to be added to the site. Be sure to let us know if it gives you any trouble again, though, whether under this name or either of your two separate accounts! |

Maybe there was a confuse with the firefox cookies from the two accounts. Anyway, from know on we'll be posting with our real accounts and we'll use the 3rd only when we have to submit a new vid.
Thanks for your help. _________________

Yeah sure
The 3-5 mins is just a guidline, but you can use whatever length you want, it's not something we penalise for Also it's not something which has to be to exact it's just something to go by |
