Im having a really big problem... I was in middle of a project and I was very happy about it. But then all of a sudden it says "eror" and something more I can't remember and it closes down

Then I go into the project again and give it another name to see if that helps. It does and everything work's fine until I want to renter some of it.
It says "eror" again and closes down... And when I then want to go into the project again it says "missing file" or something like that and a lot of the clips and audio in my project is gone

I try to fix it but vegas is working really slowly and I can't work at all at my project because of that. Then I try to render it so i can put it into another project but it keeps saying "eror".
I don't know what to do cause I really don't wan't to loose all the thing's I've been working on. I need to be done with it before the 30. September cause I wan't it to be one of my vid's in the tourney.
Anyone that can help me?

Are you using any third party applications in conjunction with vegas? This is often a reason for it crashing. Other than that it might be a faulty clip with an error that it can't process properly. See if you can render part of the video fine without it crashing.

Okay I know what the problem is now. I had a virus in one of the clips. So I had to start all over with the video. But now it's done and on the site so everything's fine again
