|
|
Ok, I did most of an awesome AU today... I was really proud of it and all excited, right? Well, my computer decided to randomly restart, and when I tried to re-open it, it gives me this error message -
An error occurred while opening the project Jate AU.veg.
An error occurred while reading the file. Make sure you have read access to file/folder and that it is not corrupted.
Anyway, shortly before it restarted, I did save the file, but there doesn't seem to be a backup file.
I'm really upset, cuz I worked so hard on this all night! Does anyone know how to restore/un-corrupt this file?? I tried system restore, disk cleanup (I'm trying anything!), restarting my computer multiple times... I have no idea what to do, and I can't seem to find anything online. I have a feeling that I won't be able to fix it, and I'll have to start all over! But if anyone can help, please please let me know! _________________

Is there not a BAK file there? All you need to do is rename it to .veg and it will become a project file.
If worst comes to the worst it's not so bad when you redo projects cause you know where everything goes from memory pretty much happened to me a few times ;/ _________________

I thought I mentioned that, but yeah, I did it twice. But it's ok! Cuz I fixed it all by myself. Thanks, Kat and Paul, but I've got it! I'm so excited. I will get back to work on my vid soon. _________________
