again, not technically a vidding problem but i get such good help from the people in this thread I thought I'd ask

I want to send a friend of a bunch of songs, about 20, and i'd like to stick them in a zip file rather than loads of zshare links but im not sure how to do it? is it as simple as creating a zip file and dragging the songs into it?

she lives in the US so it'll be over email so when it's done, do i just put the zip file in zshare or something to send to her?

Here's how it works for me (I've got XP and I believe you have Vista, right? So it might be different, I'm not sure):

1. Put all of the songs you want zipped together into one folder.

2. Right-click on the folder and hover your mouse over Send To, which will expand out and one of your options should be Compressed (zipped) folder.

3. Click that and in a few seconds you should have a folder with a zipper on it the same name as your original folder. That's the one you upload to zshare or any of the other hosting places. (Sendspace or even yousendit if she's going to be picking up her mail sooner than the 7 day expiration date work really great for something like this! )

Now I'm really curious to know if that works the same in Vista! Let me know, 'kay? ♥!

I can go ahead and answer that one for ya Aislynn, it sure does. I have Vista, and I have that option. I usually use WinRar to zip mine up though, but either way works pretty much the same way.
