Oooh, this got leaked out on Friday:

Call it Operation Oceanic Two.

ABC Studios, which produces the ABC drama "Lost," has quietly started renegotiations with stars Matthew Fox and Evangeline Lilly to beef up their paychecks, currently at about $150,000 per episode.

However, word of the talks leaked out by Friday, prompting reps for some of the other regulars to call the studio to open their own renegotiations. The majority of the "Lost" supporting players are in the $80,000-90,000 per episode range.

bugger it; i hope we the show doesn't suffer because of stuff like this. I wouldn't turn down 100 grand plus an episode. surely that's enough?

They should just do what the cast of Friends did. lol 1 million per eppy isn't too much, is it?? lol

I hope everything works out and this doesn't mess up filming or anything.

Although at times I do think it's wrong that they get more than some of the characters also considered main characters, and ok they are bigger characters than some but still

Yeah, I hope this doesn't affect the show at all. It most likely won't, but you can never be too sure. If Fox & Lilly are successful, other actors might follow suit.

It just drives me crazy though when actors on a show do this. They're not even the most talented actors either! It's just sick. They make more for one episode (and an episode is what, like 10 days of work or so?) than I make in an entire freaking YEAR. If they're already making 100 grand/episode, that's just over a million a year easy. How can one million freaking dollars a year not be enough??!

It's just blatant greed is what it is. It makes me ill to even think about it. Hell, if ABC doesn't give them what they're asking for and they walk, I'll take over for Kate. You can pay me $80K/episode and I won't complain at all! If course, they'll have to explain why Kate's face has changed and she gained 80 or so pounds, but the writers are talented, I think they could figure something out (time effects maybe?)

So Foxy and Evi get more money than the other regulars? If I understood that correctly, lol. But yeah, why should they get more money, because there are better actors on the show than those two.

I really hope it doesn't screw up production.

Lol, Abby. You should just go over and offer to take over from Evi.

If they don't have to pay you as much as her, they'd go for it. Totally.

I totally agree with everyone who says they'd take over. *bounces up and down* They can bring Alex back...I'd play her...totally.
