Not really a vidding problem. well it is cos it's affecting me burning my vids to DVD, anyway

Having an issue - the actual program I have works through RealPlayer and its seems to be fine; I think it's the DVD's Im using. I try to burn it and a msg pops up saying 'The device in the drive is a 'read only'. please add a rewritable disc.' They're brand new discs and it doesn't say rewritable on the cover, it says DVD+R. Are they not rewritable? do they need to say rewritable on the case?

Rewriteable discs just let you burn info onto a disc more than once. I reckon it's probably cause you have DVDRW selected somewhere in the program. I'm more familiar using Nero so not sure about Realplayer.

do you reckon you could give me a quick run through of how to use it?

never mind; figured it out. but it wont burn mpeg files; dyk of a good mpeg convertor i could d/load? the one i've got has a crappy watermark on the screen :S

Pmd you an app Kat.. I think you need nero installed as well to burn so don't uninstall it ;D
