I dunno if this has been posted here. But we got this post over @ MEFB, so gonna share here

Hello everyone!

I don't know if you know this, but the McFarlane toy company used to make a Lost Action figures line. Unfortunately the line was canceled before the release of series three, which would have been Ben, Desmond, Claire and Sayid.

A lot of Lost fans were highly disappointed with the fact that the line was canceled, so a group of us got together, with a McFarlane forum member and fellow Lost fan "KarenRoss", as our leader, to make our very own Lost action figure line!

What we did was hired a professional sculptor and got him to make us our very own Lost figures! Not to mention we made him watch all 4 season of Lost in about 2 weeks and he is now a HUGE fan.

The figures are in scale with the McFarlane figures and are limited to
about 42 a piece. The first line is going to be Juliet Burke and
Daniel Faraday, decided by KarenRoss and a couple of other board
members. Since then this project has become bigger and we even have an
official message board:

There are pictures of the almost-finished Daniel sculpt, and some
in-progress Juliet pictures as well. We should get pretty much
completely finished pictures of both of the sculpts soon!

And it only gets better: If you pre-order (the deadline is currently
July 13th, but may be extended once again) both figures in series 1 (Juliet and Daniel) you will get
plenty of extra accessories (e.g. Daniel's journal), a Jack head
sculpt (this is part of a full jungle-Jack... by around series 3
you'll have the whole thing if you pre-order every figure; you'll get
his torso in series 2 and his lower body in series 3 - something like
that), AND an extra mystery bust! (will be one of the original 815
survivors), oh and I forgot to mention A DISCOUNT. ; ) If you pre-order just one, you'll still get some extras as well, but stuff like Jack's head is only for people who pre-order both figures.

Each figure will already come with some accessories but if you
pre-order, you'll get extra. They'll also all come with small bases.

The figures will come unpainted, BUT some of the board members kindly offered to paint some of them for free, all you'll have to pay is shipping.

Anyway, the main reason I'm writing is because we have a vote on the
message board and it looks like series 2 will be Desmond David Hume
and Benjamin Linus! If you guys are interested, feel free to register
on the forum and let us know what kind of pose, accessories etc... you
want for the figures! You can also already pre-order the second series as well, and more details on all the extras for the second series will be posted when they are decided. (The people who pre-ordered the first series will get an ever BIGGER discount for the second series)

Also, in case any of you are worried, we are not making a profit out
of this or anything... we are paying the sculptor from our own pockets
so we can continue the Lost figure line.

We're not doing this for money. So don't look as this post as an
advertisement, but as a way to help the fans that are disappointed
that McFarlane canceled the action figure line. After all, we are all
"Lost" fans.

that is so awesome!!!! i was so pissed when series three was cancelled; Claire neglected once again!!! is this new person doing Claire????

I only have Jack & Charlie right now but all the rest are easy enough to get; i was waiting for Claire tho

it'll be so cool to see Juliet and Dan and stuff as well!!! Ill keep and eye on this

i dunno. But maybe if it is requested it would be done. It would be good if they done everyone that has'nt been made.

im gonna wait till theres some pics of ben 1st before i preordered coz faraday looks real good, but juliets is not that great. Too me anyways.

lol i only have john, he's been so lonely and was real depressed when he found out they weren't making ben

Yeah I was bummed when they cancelled the figures, I have all of them which are out at the moment and so can't wait to add to my collection tehe

Ooh, this is awesome. I don't have any of the figures myself, but that pic of the Dan figure looks really good.

Claire would be cool, too.
