"Just Jared has learned that actor Dominic Monaghan (Lord of the Rings, TV’s Lost) has been cast as Beak aka Blackwing. His bio had been posted on our Weapon X page for some time, due to his inclusion in an early script for the film.
It seems we’ll probably be hearing additional casting announcements in the future, as there are still many small roles left in the film!

That's interesting. And ironic, considering when Josh Holloway was offered the part of Gambit in X3, he turned it down.  (Which was retarded, might I add, because he would have been SO PERFECT for the role!!!!!) Anyway, I just thought that was interesting. It's pretty much just a rumor right now, but there's a good chance it's right.

Well, Josh was almost cast as Gambit (I'm still mad at him for turning it down, he would have been PERFECT!) and Maggie Grace was supposedly cast as Kitty Pryde and either that was a rumor or something happened and she didn't end up being in the film...now Dom?? I'll definitely be happy with that, but still! Why can't Josh be Gambit?

I heard he was definitely going to be in it alongside mega hottie Ryan Reynolds!
Lets see that's Hugh Jackman, Ryan reynolds and Dom....How many hotties can u fit in one movie?! seriously! I'm so excited.

lol I guess he'll make a good Gambit. He fits the part as far as I can tell from his looks and he is younger than Josh...but still.
