Lyrics:
[Chorus:]
Senior service, junior dissatisfaction:
It's a breath you took too late; it's a death that's worse than fate.
Senior service, junior dissatisfaction:
Though it may be secondhand, It's by no means second-rate.
I want your neck; I want the seat that you sit at.
I want you checked, because they told me I would get out.
I want to chop off your head and watch it roll into the basket.
If you should drop dead tonight, then they won't have to ask me twice.
[Chorus]
They took me in the office and they told me very carefully
the way that I could benefit from death and disability.
[Chorus]
I want your company car; I want your girlfriend and love.
I want your place at the bar, because there's always another man
to chop off your head and watch it roll into the basket.
If you should drop dead tonight, then they won't have to ask me twice. _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

Very nice! The effects are pretty cool, as I'm not always the one for those type of effects. I use overlays alot! Your beats were amazing, and it was interesting to see a Ben and Juliet vid. Keep up your good beats, and ideas! |

Thanks, Kate ^ 2! Yeah, the beats took a fair amount of work, but I think it was worth it. (And it's a short song - if it had been four minutes of those beats, argh.)
The song seemed to me to fit what I see as constant oneupsmanship in the Others' camp, so I figured, what the hell. Even though it's another Costello song (but can you blame me?) _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

I don't really like the Others and because of that, i don't watch vids about them. But you asked so I obliged
I'm giving you a Woot! for beat use I loved it, kept the vid interesting. Since I'm not an others fan it didn't really grab me, but having said that, i reckon anyone who likes Others vids would enjoy it Perhaps a lil more effects would help as well. Like that lightning effect? that was cool. all in all tho it was fun to watch. could lyric/scene combos _________________

Hee. Yeah, I figured it wouldn't be your style, but I figured it would be worth getting yet another opinion from you. Glad you liked the beat use, anyway - like I said, that was kind of a pain in the ass, heh.
And that effect was a crack, not lightning, I swear. Or at least that's what it said in the effects window. Meant to show the cracks in the power structure and all that jazz... not that I would ever overthink anything like that!
Where do you suggest putting the effect in, out of curiosity? If you can find a spot, lemme know, as there were constant effects throughout - even in the 'death and disability' bridge you have a bunch of pans on Richard and Juliet, though that's meant to be calmer/subtler effects-wise.
(C'mon, you like Sawyer and Sayid. You can like the baddies too. I have faith in you! ) _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

The beat use was very good on the whole. I wasn't a fan of the switching the clips across to match the beat but apart from that it was very cool. Liking the break transition it was well timed. Best moment was Richard checking out Ben's girl great lyric use (kinda pedo though! lol) Good job! |

Honestly, Paul? That thought about the 'girlfriend' lyric entered my head, but what could I do? It's not like there were other options. Putting, say, Juliet to that lyric would have rang false, as she seems to hate Ben. I figured I'd just run with it, and tried to make it quick enough so that there weren't those sort of vibes.
You didn't like the mirrored clips? Ah well. I figured it would be a decent way to keep a quick beat going and not have the footage be too distracting (and I didn't want to use flashes). At least they were on beat.
Thanks for reviewing! _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

They were defintely on the beat Well you could have had a quick run of clips instead. Not a fan of loadsa flashes together either.
It was really good lyric use it's just a shame we haven't seen her older yet. I could totally see Richard hitting on her but when she's legal _________________
