I sat down and made a 3 hour sketch of Locke last night. Plus I spent about another hour today finishing some more of the shading and right side of his face. (scanners don't like light drawings)

 Wow, that's awesome! Great job! 
*envies mad drawing skillz*  I used to love to draw but I never could really capture a person that well. I could get a drawing to look like a person but just not like the person I was trying to draw. Which, uh, makes me a sucky artist!

Aw, I know what you mean though, really. This one's a milestone for me. He actually has a totally different expression in this drawing than in the original screencap. He looked a little more evil and full of conviction (and looking straight at Jack), but nonetheless I made him look like the real person.

You're kidding, right? I don't think of myself as very talented in many areas. Just a few that are easier than others.

That is awesome!
The eyes are fantastic, though I feel the lines around the mouth don't look like Lock. Otherwise, that is honestly the best drawing I have yet to see of Lock!

Thanks! Yeah, I have to agree that I can't really look at the mouth as much as I can at the eyes. It looks smaller in proportion than it should be I think. I typically started around his eyes first, being as careful and accurate as possible, and they immediately started popping out looking like Terry's eyes throughout the years (that's when I knew I got 'em right ), but one of the last things I worked on was the mouth, and that was probably the most difficult and frustrating, other than the right edge of his face.
