Michelle = Batshit Crazy (That's for Hobbes to agree with.)
But since her trial date isn't until sometime in March, it looks like she won't effect this season as far as the character of Ana-Lucia goes. Don't they stop filming in March? I could be totally wrong about that.
Notice my complete disregard for her "freedom." I only care about the show. |

I thought it was funny that they said she would have a hard time doing community service because she's famous. Plenty of famous people do community service (by choice, not because they're forced.) So I wonder what the real reason was. |

I'm not going to comment about Michelle at the moment, but I really hope they don't kill off Ana Lucia. Why? Because it would be too predictable. Because too many psychotic haters would get exactly predictably what they want, and I don't want that to happen. Ideally, characters on Lost are created for a purpose, for a reason. We have yet to see Ana go through more character growth and have a purpose on the island. Just thinking about it brings up Jack's line to Henry, "Then you just might have been worth all the trouble."
So if Ana gets killed off soon before the writers have put her to good use, then what was the purpose of even creating her in the first place? Ideally, I think what the writers had in mind was similar to other literature- to add characters not out of just complete randomness, but to influence things down the path of the plot, to have reason and help emphasize the story. Killing off Ana would just make her a random waste of time in the end. I mean, gollyy, would you give her a chance? And it doesn't matter if the actress happens to be an assehole. I can think of so many A-list celebrities off the top of my head that play all sorts of interesting roles but are just psyho asseholes in real life. (Tom Cruise anyone?) It has nothing to do with the character.
So anyway, I hope the writers have sense not to kill her off, despite what many fans feel. But since there are just about 100% of the others here against my views on the situation, I won't comment anymore. _________________

LOL I totally thought of Shanon when I read that. I think the way they just got rid of Shannon made her a random waste of time.
You never know, they mightHAVE to kill her off if she goes to jail in LA. Unless she's not, and read something somwhere that was wrong |

Hate to break it to you, but A-L wasn't convicted until after the season finale finished writing. |

I agree They killed off Boone and Shannon just because they weren't as popular as the rest of the cast, and neither of them really did much for the plot (well, Boone did, and Shannon made people hate Ana Lucia... but nothing major)
If they kill of AnaL (heh) without some good use, then there's no point to Shannon's death, or any of this screentime of Ana's (and boy howdy did she get a lot of it at the beginning of Season 2...). And if they kill her off just because the fans don't like her, then what's the point? Does that mean Lost has suddenly become Survivor? I don't think they'll kill her off without a good reason, or at least I hope they don't. |
