So did I
OMG This episode was awesome! Nestor is a brilliant actor! Holy crap I never actually realized how hot Richard is!!! I loved his laugh when Ilana asked him what was next. Jack is surprisingly watchable this season, way back in the other seasons he couldn't even get through a scene without whining or crying, or blaming himself for something, him not knowing what's going on is great. I'm very excited about next week I hope we get an episode focused on Charlie and/or Claire soon. _________________ \~/Annie\~/

I don't understand how people can say Jacob is the bad guy.....and the thought that MIB is the GOOD guy freaks me out.
Maybe it's just because I'm interpreting this season in a VERY Biblical way, and the way I see if, Jacob is definitely the "God" figure and MIB is the devil, which makes him very scary.
I dunno. I just think the fact that Jacob doesn't try to manipulate people is a good thing, because he wants them to figure things out for themselves. And it's not like he MADE Richard do anything - Richard asked to be immortal, and Jacob didn't make him take the job of keeping MIB on the island or whatever the job was Jacob asked him to do. Richard's like a prophet. _________________

To me, making it all Biblical would be an easy, obvious way out, with pat solutions and obvious choices. I am hoping (against hope, it seems) that is not the case.
I don't think either Jacob or MiB/Flocke/Man of Many Nicknames is a good guy, let alone The Good Guy. I don't trust either one of them. Benign neglect drives people to do the wrong thing every bit as much as forcing their hand does, so Jacob's policy to me seems stupid-if-good, calculated-if-evil. Look what happened to the Losties in prior seasons without direction, when left to their own devices: They bumbled into the Others, getting a few of their number killed along the way, and basically screwed themselves repeatedly. If that's what Jacob's hands-off/"choose your own adventure" guidance does, well, that's either stupid or calculated, as said above.
In the real world, is it generally good to figure things out for yourself, on an individual levelf? Yes, of course it is. But it's not always good on a larger level. Not to start a politics discussion, but laissez-faire economics, IMO, are doomed to failure in larger terms, and the John Galts of society (hiding in private retreats and letting the world take its own course) can be just as evil as those who try to rule the world. Balance is the key--between retreat and involvement, order and chaos, fate and self-reliance. I'm hoping that's how the show will play out. _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

Yay, Richard episode finally Been looking forward to having one It made me lol when Richard was actually called Ricardo because at home when watching Lost with my mom I call Richard Ricardo lol.
I felt bad for Richard in the flashback and that once he go the medicine it was too late
Yay the black rock, twas nice to see how that actually got to the island. It was nice to see how the statue came to just the foot because of the black rock lol.
Wow nice to see that smokey was already on the island when Richard got there, and the boar , and then didn't actually come after Richard to kill him, all the flashing makes me think it's like a judgement of the person.
Awww that was cute when he was reuinted with Isabella, but then did feel bad that he lost her for a second time
When MIB started talking about the devil I reckon he was speaking about Jacob calling him the devil and was like yayy when we saw jacob, and then the how if anyone listened to Flocke it wouldn't be good and then it's been said about Jacob aswell.
When Jacob mentioned a man dressed in black it keeps reminding me of what Locke said back in S1 when he said 'one side is light, one side is dark' it really does make you think how much did the writers know or did they just look back on it and think yeah let's include it lol and then it happened again with the white rock, it is cool how they have their sides based on the two colours.
Oooh that speech about the bottle and cork was quite cool And when we heard about Richard living forever and then Jacob touched him that was very cool, him living forever is like a sin for Richard as he couldn't get rid of his sins.
I felt bad when he went to get the necklace back and then saying about if the offer still stood, it made me think of the promo photo at the table and Richard was sitting to the left of 'flocke' where most the ones on his side were on I was like hope he don't go bad.
Awww bless Isabella speaking to Hurley, I thought he was talking to the guy that Sayid killed, didn't come to mind about Isabella. With the moment of Hurley speaking for Isabella, it reminded me of Ghost Whisperer as thats how Jennifer Love Hewitt does it in that lol.
Oooh Richard's a man on a mission now lol
I really liked this weeks episode, I liked the focus on Richard was nice to learn a few new things this week:D |

Wait, so are there some people that might possibly be on Team MIB??
I wish there had been an episode like this earlier, maybe then I would have been more interested in Richard...because now I'm loving him Nestor is an amazing actor. I'm completely amazed. I loved this episode, surprisingly. It was really interesting.
And yes, I keep thinking about the inconsistencies (esp. ever since we learned what/who the Black Smoke was). There's just some stuff that doesn't sit right with me. And yeah, I thought the boat smashing in to the statue was a bit much too, lol.
I liked how they were referring to Jacob as the Devil, when that is in fact who he plays in Supernatural |

This is another reason I say Jacob can't be the devil. XD IT WOULD BE REDUNDANT! ...Yeah....I just really, really feel that Jacob is good and MIB is evil. _________________

If I had to choose... *raises hand* And it's not a Sawyer and Sayid thing, either. I just really don't trust some of the characters on Team Jacob, and have not received evidence from anyone other than them that their side is to be trusted.
Jacob's plan is either incompetent if he's good (and why would he waste years and years on an incompetent plan?), or he's evil. Occam's Razor says the latter. However, I don't necessarily believe that it's a good/evil dichotomy, so would not throw in my lot with MiB in the best of all possible worlds, either. I still can't shake the feeling that Jacob and Ilana are playing the beach crew, and I still don't trust Ben or Richard, either.
Also, "older than you can possibly imagine" != 150 years, for Pete's sake. _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

I'm not on Team MIB... but I'm not on Team Jacob either... I don't trust either of them... and I'm not convinced that one is good and the other evil.... like Ben and Widmore... they both have agendas but don't believe either of them is fighting for the greater good
like I said earlier... if Jacob's only goal is to keep MIB (evil?) contained on the island... and MIB can't leave as long as Jacob is there... and MIB can't kill Jacob himself... WHY keep bringing people to the island (killing who knows how many in the process)? why not just guard the island himself for eternity rather than bringing people who MIB can attempt to turn to kill Jacob for him? why does Jacob need a replacement when from all appearances both he and MIB never age?
I don't trust either of them _________________
