Great vid, Paul!
Just to let you know, KC, I just finished the vid I was working on ("How Soon Is Now?" but can't get it to upload... grr.... ). But I'll be starting "Hit The Road, Jack" next!
Of course, it's no surprise to hear that I vid slower than sauerkraut running up a hill (HUH?!? ), so don't expect it as quickly as Master Polarbear up there turned in his!
*keeps repeating to self* Slow and steady wins the race, slow and steady wins the race... Oy...

27 seconds vidded and I've laughed maniacally the whole time... This might be a bad sign, I'm not sure...
Don't know if this is going to end up anything like you've imagined, KC. 'Cause it's not turning out like anything I imagined!
But I'm having fun, fun, FUN!

Fun is all that matters Aislynn! You do great work so I am sure I'll love it no matter what direction it takes.
Question though, is Mandi still doing The Freshman? Cause if you aren't I would like to do it now that I can finally vid again. |

Managed to finish "Hit The Road, Jack" before my computer got the snot beat out of it by last week's attacks. I would've liked to have tweaked it just a bit more but it looks like I'm going to have to stay with it as is, since I can't open the project file correctly anymore! All my clips are the same ratio yet now some of them show up as full screen and some as widescreen!
Hope this little glitchy thing is confined to this project file, not something that's gone wrong with all my clips!!! Gee, just what I need, even MORE of a challenge when trying to make vids!
I'll upload "Jack" at some point after LVI starts accepting vids again, 'kay? I'm 99% happy with the way it came out. No animation this time, just goofy clip editing!
Mainly just wanted it in print that I have officially completed this request!

Sorry I didn't get to this until now. I've been out of town since last Sunday. Well, I'd love to see this video whenever you get it uploaded Aislynn. Wouldn't care to give me a sneak peek would you? |

Well, if anyone deserves a sneak peek, it would be you, KC!
I still haven't uploaded it yet. I'm debating on whether to reopen the rendered vid and try to edit it a bit like that, then re-render it (since the original project file is all strung-out now after the Big Virus Crisis thingie! *pout* ). Hate for it to lose quality like that but there's just a couple of things that bug me that I know I could do a little bit better...
*dramatic sigh* It's so hard to be a vidding perfectionist! Okay, I actually just wrote "vidding percentage" for some weird reason! Is that like becoming a statistic?
Will keep debating the "leave it alone and upload it, for cryin' out loud!" versus the "but I could make it just a little better!" thing and will let you know when I figure it all out!
Gee, this is almost as hard as the old "tastes great/less filling" thing!

I'm not Mandi, but I'm one of her friends. She did an incredible amount on The Freshman (which was AWESOME so far to say the least) but Windows Movie Maker is being a pain in the ass for her. I'm not sure if she's going to pursue it or not, but next time I talk with her, I'll definitely ask and direct her to this thread. _________________

I'll definantly try to pursue it. Like Jackie said though, I'm not exactly having an easy time with WMM and working on vids is incredibly hard and saving them is impossible.
If you really want to make this vid, feel free. I doubt WMM would ever let me save it when I did finish anyway.
ETA: I do have maybe 2 minutes saved, if you'd like to check it out. Dont know why, lol, but if ya did, I figured i'd tell you that I did manage to get some saved. _________________ My Graphics Journal

Well I may work on my own version eventually, but now that I know that you are at least trying to work on it I won't pursue it as vigorously. Hehe. I'm sorry you're having problems. Trust me when I say I know exactly what that's like and how much it totally sucks! (This entire thread right here came out of that suckage!) |

And, thanks to Vicky for uploading "Hit The Road, Jack" for me, it can now be found hanging out here in its own little LVI thread...
