Heya Neo! Keep in mind this rule for this particular contest:

So the song you use has to be from the film score itself of the movie you're using, not just from the trailer. And you'll need to recreate the same movie whose instrumental score you using as well (in other words, if you're using music from Sin City's film score, you'll need to be doing the Lost version of Sin City). So just using an instrumental song won't quite meet the contest rule unless it's from the film score itself. Sorry for the confusion! Good luck! WAIT, i just found out that its on the Transporter 2 Official soundtrack. but i still might put in a sin city effect if thats ok.
cuz right now this is the only song I can really do.

Hey again, Neo! The thing is, whichever film score you use, then that's the movie you'll need to make the vid for. So, in other words, if you'd like to make a Lost/Sin City vid, you'd need to use a song from the Sin City score itself (and what we're meaning by score is a song that's an actual instrumental song from the movie itself, as opposed to just an instrumental version of a song that actually does have words). If you use the Transporter 2 score, then you'll have to base your vid around that, if that makes sense? So if you use Sin City-like effects, it will have to make some sort of sense as a Transporter vid.
Anyway, I'm so sorry this is causing problems for you.  But I don't want you to go to all the trouble of making a vid that will get rejected from the contest for not following the rules, you know? If you have any way of using a song from the Sin City score itself, then you would be able to do your vid more like what I'm thinking you're going for. Unless, of course, you wanted to tell the story of Transporter 2 with Lost footage.  Which could also be cool! (I actually liked both of the Transporter movies! )
Hope that you're able to get what you need to make your vid! And you can always do a Lost/Sin City vid with "Cells" as a "regular" vid instead of a contest vid, so that way you can make it exactly how you want it.

| I have about a minute and 20 seconds left to dub and I'm done. However, they are 2 very hard scenes to dub - Jack in his cell and Kate, Saywer, and Mr. Friendly out on the fields when Sawyer gets zapped. I've tired a few lines, but the mouths aren't matching right. |

Ok, thanks for the explanation. I understand. I'll still make it but I'm gonna have to make it a regular vid tho, not a contest submission. And I have to say it's comin along better than expected, so watch out for it soon.

I have finished it! Actually, I finished it last night, but I had to clean out my computer to upload it. It's being put onto youtube as we speak.
I must say, it turned out a little differently than I thought it would. But, it was cool. I hope the middle shows off as well as I planned. It's supposed to be a comparison of the 2 camps (kinda) and so I use the same soundclip from FotR to do that.
This is the first time I've ever done a vid like that, so I hope everyone enjoys. |

I've noticed the deadline is now the 7th October. I was wondering, could we get another day or so on top of that. I've been away so ain't had chance to start my vdeo properly. I'm now about 1/3 of the way through.
No worries if we can't I'll submit it to the site anyway.
