Which is one of the reasons they should have kept the whole Michael/Sun/Jin triangle subplot. Everyone above the age of consent on this Island has a romantic interest...but not poor Michael.

Locke and Eko don't have any romantic interests either, do they?

Well, the writers this season did seem to be trying to set up Locke/Claire and Eko/Ana as plausibilities, although I'd probably argue that those went the same way as Michael/Sun, so, yeah, you're right.
Still wish they'd kept Michael/Sun going...

They dropped Locke/Claire like it was a hot potato, didn't they? I thought it was kinda brave of them to be suggesting it, just since it's so unconventional, but they've really ignored it for the past bunch of eps, haven't they? Weird if they just got scared off of it, though.

What I've found strange is how so many of their story arcs have just seemed to fade away without getting any real resolution. *miffed*

Of course, that leaves more for me to vid, then, huh? I already have my own take on the kind of aborted Jack/Kate/Sawyer/Ana quadrangle that they never really seemed to develop properly, IMO...

Yeah, in season 1 they symbolized black and white stones a lot, first Locke playing Backgammon with Walt..."One is light, one is dark", and the cave, and then in Claire's nightmare Locke had black and white eyes. But then they just forgot about it and dropped it. Same with episodes opening with eyes.

Uhhhmmm right this is totally random and I'm sure it's probably been mentioned 800 times before but I was just too lazy to read it all. So just tell me if I sound like an idiot and we'll just pretend this post never happened.

Did anybody notice that Ana-Lucia named Christian "Tom" and Christian named Ana-Lucia "Sarah"? Tom=Kate's high school flame, Sara=Jack's wife.

I think the Tom bit was a bit of a coincidence but I mentioned the Sarah thing seems weird. Like he'd forget his son's ex-wife's name

I'm pretty sure they did that just for you know the freaks who remember that stuff cause it's not like they ran out of names.

Yeah, you caught me. I think I'll have to have a look at that episode because I can't remember them at all. I remember those black and white stones of the Backgammon game, but not those ones.

I didn't read the whole thread myself, but wasn't Tom also the name of Claire's ex-boyfriend (and Aaron's father, of course)?
Tom or Thomas...

Thom-ASS! yep you were right. That was the name of Claire's boyfriend. I just find it weird that they've used the name Tom/Thomas 3 times already. There's more guys names out there!

Thankfully that's never been mentioned before on this thread. I didn't notice that. That's interesting.

Those flashbacks were just weird. Was there even a purpose for them, since Ana is dead now? What was with those flashbacks?
