Strangely, I thought that the Infamous Sana Scene turned out better than it could have, IMO. I didn't want to see some ooey-gooey "their eyes meet from across the field of flowers and they run towards each other in super slo-mo" sorta thing. Besides being thoroughly out of character for either of them, it would've had my Inner-Skater screaming like a banshee.
My take on it as it was happening: it was a business arrangement. She was trading him for the gun. (I loved his "WHAT THE--????" expression... ) I didn't feel at all at that moment like we were supposed to think, "Oh, well they've just been overcome with their mutual hotness and here you go." I thought it was all about trading for the gun.
BUT what bugged me about it later was the fact that when Jack, Kate and Locke confronted Sawyer later and he reached for his gun, that he seemed to only realize just then that he didn't have it. Uhhh, how did he NOT notice until that point? I felt like that was out of character for him and existed ONLY so that he could reveal that Ana had the gun back at the Hatch.
It would've worked better, IMO, if he would've reached back for the gun, forgetting that he no longer had it, then said something along the lines of, "I never should've traded that away." Leading them to ask who he traded it to (and Kate to ask, "What'd you trade her?" and him to say with his typical bad boy attitude, "Nothin' you seemed to care about, Freckles." ) and still getting the info across that way.
But one thing I can't help but wonder about is how is Kate going to find out about it? With Ana out of the picture, who's left to tell her? Sawyer sure wouldn't, right? So was there somebody out there who saw them? |

Oh I thought it was both- a business deal AND mutual hotness. I mean supposedly Sawyer is pretty good between the sheets AND hes hot. but I agree with you that anything fluffy wouldve been out of character and angered me. But it was hot, theyre both really passionate people. Also she RIPPED his shirt off and was very quick to take her own off...
But Ais- was asking myself the same thing in regards to the Kate thing, and ewww someone spying...
Ais- yeah lol! How could he not notice NOT putting a gun into his pants? _________________

What are you basing that on Nate? If either of the two, I would have my moolah on Ana- Libby took two shots to the chest.
And no Im not taking a piss, Im really asking. _________________

Just read that Ana's death was planned from the beginning. Michelle only wanted to do one season. So, Ana is definitely dead. |

I've read that, too, Colin. I heard it in the Ausiello Report TV Guide thingie. Yeah, that's it's official name. They're only committing to Ana being dead at this time, not Libby -- although that doesn't mean that she won't pull a Boone and die in the NEXT ep!
And "pulling a Boone" sounds painful, doesn't it? Kinda like pulling a muscle? |

I was talking to Colin about how Shannon and Ana Lucia got laid before they met their demises. Libby prolly did too (never know) LOL. Prolly a coincident acoincident though. So look out next time someone have sex. LOL
btw MSN article suggests that the woman Jack's dad met in Australia could be Claire's mom thus Jack's Claire half brother, which is pure speculation, but I do agree that woman looked awful like Claire though.
Here's the link to Ask Ausiello article if anyone havent read it yet.

something I thought was odd... why did Christian use the name Sarah? Just seemd odd he'd use his son's ex-wife's name.
Crazy thery that just came to me... Didn't Sarah leave Jack because she was seeing someone? Possibly named Christian Prolly not lol |

sweet. that was such a refreshing episode. After so many setup episodes its great to see some things fall into place!
Also was great to be completly blindsided by the ending! It's usually not hard to see things coming, but this episode caught me completly off gard. loved that.
btw, didn't anyone notice Libby was suspiciously holding something in front of her? Why do i have the feeling some super strong object Hurly gave her stopped the bullets... _________________
