However, the part that I'm just dying over is the idea that, by no longer vidding, it caused time to stop!

Hm, could this be a guilt trip of sorts since I'm holding my Skate vid hostage at the moment? If so, then it's the most creative guilt trip I've ever been on!

Previously on TWTSTW..

"They're frozen..I know it was cold last night but this is ridiculous."

"Not frozen by ice, Aislynn but frozen in time, frozen by your vidders block."

[fade thru black]

"How fast is it spreading?"

"It's taken WMM2 in a matter of days." E gurgled. "It's only a matter of time before the surrounding towns are trapped inside the time warp.

"All our hopes and prayers rest on this tincan. I really hope he can pull it off E."

"I hope so too. As long as they both keep their mind on task everything will be fine."

[fast wipe right]

"Wow that was great. You're a sex machine Josh!"

"Damn straight. Now get dressed. We're heading out."

"Where?"

"To get your vidding spark back."

And now the next installment of TWTSTW..

Chapter 4: Marcus the Mercurial

A man awoke from his slumber greeted by the automated shrill sound of a kettle boiling. He sloped out of bed and collapsed into his leather chair. Rolling around on it he landed at the front of a computer terminal. He moved around and clicked his mouse a little before getting up to wash out a bowl so he could make some frosted flakes for breakfast. He put a tape in his stereo and music started playing. It was The Final Countdown by Europe.

Getting up from his seat he stroke a pose and started to shake his buttocks to the beat.

"It's the final countdown.." He murmered nodding his head and dancing manically round the room. Kicking a chair over he proceeded to start air guitaring. A strange rumbling sound from above cut his enjoyment short and made the tape go skewy in the player.

"Bastards!"

He reached for a strange tin foil hat from his shelf and put it on and wrapped more tin foil around himself. Picking up a foam mallet and taking a menthos he headed for the stairs.

Someone was knocking on the door.

"Who is it!!"

"err..it's Aislynn and a friend.."

He opened the door a jar and peeked out.

"Stand back!" He threatened, poking the mallet infront of Aislynn's bemused face. Josh poked his robot foot in the door.

"Come on now fella we mean no harm." He smiled.

"It's Marcus the Mercurial to you!" He said before slamming the door against his foot. Josh didn't flinch of course as his foot was made from cybernetic flesh. He ripped the door from it's handles.

"Okay so now I think we got some common ground." He grinned and headed inside. Marcus shrunk back and fell onto his sofa in a heap. Aislynn watched on in awe and dreamy eyed.

"You are one lucky fella to survive the freeze. Being on the boundary of the city must have saved you..for now."

"Oh.. it'll be me magic suit." He poked the tinfoil.

"Magic.." Josh sighed. "These dimples..they're magic."

"You must come with us Marcus please. You're in very real danger from.." She stopped before saying me as she thought it might freak him out.

"I can't leave. I must work on my Hurlielle vids every morning else something terrible will happen." His face went pale and he started getting a strange twitch in his eye.

Josh chuckled and revealed a laptop from his bag. "You can make em on the road with this baby."

Marcus smiled a little. "I guess I could do with a road trip."

"That's the spirit bucko!" Josh exclaimed.

"I'm here maister." A voice spoke from the shadows.

"Sit down... I do hope you are ready for this mission, brother."

"I am always ready for whatever you wish of me, maister."

"The woman, Aislynn. She is a threat to us. Our plan is in danger of not being brought to fruition. "

"You can count on me. " He spoke, leaning forward into the light. It was Warren.

[cut to black]

Best part was Marcus in a Desmond-like role. It WAS meant to be a Desmond parody wasn't it?
