Well, the way things were developing in the 2nd season, I don't really think that Skate might still happen and that it will be Jate in the end.
Never mind, I enjoy watching both, Jate and Skate vids, as long as they're well edited and creative

Dunno, but I know for sure that Foxy, Evie and Josh are deffinatly in Season 3 for at least half the season.
It was in my OK Magazine
One of them might get killed off near the end or something (like Ana Lucia and Libby), you know JJ Abrams... full of twisted suprises!
But thats not a spoiler; just my opinion.

Woah calm down child. Just my opinion, I reckon one of those characters might be killed off in S3. They won't kill them off on the first few episodes will they? So I think they must be in it for at least half the season before the producers decide to do anything drastic.

For all we know they could be in the show until the last episode!

L: I always think so too, because opposites attract.
E: I agree. I think that there’s something about Sawyer that’s so much like her, that her love for him is almost like a sibling, you know, like a brother, or like a best friend. I mean, can’t you imagine Kate and Sawyer making the most amazing friends and team and partners? But I don’t know, romantically, I think she hasn’t seen that. Although she felt something when they kissed for sure! |
I was upset until I read the last part there: "like a brother." Uh, anybody here kiss their brother like that? And what happened to Kate's "every time I feel something for Sawyer" speech? Why would she be upset that she felt sisterly feelings towards him?  So my Skater self was happy to totally disregard the entire interview.
However, to show that I come in peace, allow me to leave my Jater pals an offering...

Man, Evi, way to depress me and envy you to no end. Sawyer's like a brother to Kate now, huh? Hmm, I really want a brother now. 
Anyway, uh, this interview was pretty surprising to me. Most of Evangeline's interviews thus far have been pro-Skate...and then there was this one. Ah, well. *shrug* I'm not sure if she is trying to appeal to both her Jater and Skater fans, but if that is the case, then I personally don't think she should have a complete turn-around of her own personal opinion just to please fans. There is obviously a 50% chance that this complete 180 of her old views of the Triangle is how she truely feels now, but it's still a bit fishy and out of place to me. Congratulations to the Jaters though; it's always nice to know when an actor who portrays part of your ship admits that they too are secretly shipping them together as well.
I will still ship Skate no matter what, but I will be able to tolerate Jate if it isn't too cliché, and if Kate stops trying to seek his approval and can be more herself, like Evi said. Jack has been her weakness this past season, but now that she, Jack, and Sawyer are stuck, held in captivity together, we'll see what happens. Maybe Kate will use her supah-awesome fugitive skillz to get them out of there or something, thus making her the hero(ine), not Jack. w00t!

Who the hell knows anymore. I mean she doesnt know for sure. And remember kids, Kate said she had feelings for him (see Aislynn's post above).
1.) the whole situation is like Scarlett, Rhett and Ashley. Hopefully you can figure that one out.
2.) in that vein, its basically like the situation with her father(s). Shes trying to reconcile that part of her life. Although in Sawyer's defense, he's never beaten a woman or would lear at his own daughter.
3.) Kate IS, in the great tradition of Aragorn and Jean Grey, an unabashed tease.
Im with Michel on this one- I really want a brother too!
The writing is really inconsistent- at the end of one and beginning of 2 it was going good, then they must've changed writers againbecause everybody changed. My god if I had someone who cared for me the way Sawyer does for Kate- does no one else remember "you and me aint done Haus". Sawyer is basically a jerk, but hes pretty loyal, and thats rare.
Heh heh heh I freakin' LOVE Aislynn! As Eric Roberts said "its time you and me had a dance...a stiletto dance!".
Also, are you saying you would be happy if Sawyer bought the farm cause he'd be out of the way????? I think if they are going to add some people (I dont know how, but whatever- maybe the Laker Girls jet will crash there) let Sawyer have a woman who doesnt die right away!
