That Edmonton breakaway goal was absolutely gorgeous. (Also I am pulling for Edmonton versus Carolina because Carolina knocked out my team, the New Jersey Devils.)

Edmonton Oilers lead 2-0 in the second period, game 6. (Carolina leads the best-of-7 series, 3 games to 2.)
They almost scored another goal right off the faceoff, too. _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

Go Edmonton!! It's been too long since a Canadian team won the Stanley Cup.
Carolina beat my team also - Montreal. (after Montreal won the first two games, that is! argh!! I'm still upset.) _________________

EDMONTON LEADS, 3-0.
(Man, the Oilers just want the damn thing more.)
I'm sorry about the Canadiens, Cylune. The Devils were particularly sad for me, because I totally expected them to win. (Also this is Albany's last year as farm club for the Devils. Guess who Albany is going to be AHL farm club for next year? Yup. Carolina. It's so wrong. )
4-0. WOW. _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

(Insert one of Aislynn's dancing polar bears here.)
My mom, who is from North Carolina, threatened to take back the Southern food she sent me if I rooted for Edmonton in Game 7. I like Brunswick stew and Moon Pies. I now have a moral quandary: Do I want Carolina to lose more than I want the Brunswick stew and Moon Pies? I am not sure.
Cylune, you can solve this if you send me Aero bars and poutine (though I don't think the latter would ship too well). I like those too. _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.

You guys don't have Aero bars???? No way!!!
Poutine is awful for your health. I'm going to do you a favor and *not* send it to you. Although Aero bars aren't really better.
Food? Hockey?? Though choice! Good luck with that. _________________

For real, no Aero bars. Though I grew up about 2 hours south of Cornwall, Ontario, so you could occasionally get them from the Canadian emigres down here. No poutine either (best I had was in Shediac, NB, at a place that was recommended to me by former NJ Devil Scott Pellerin's mom - for a while I was seriously considering to attend UNB Fredericton. Not just because of the poutine, though.)
Sadly, since I moved west (now in the sub-suburbs, so to speak, of Chicago), you can't even get maple candy out here (and that you could find EVERYWHERE in upstate New York.) So sad! And yes, poutine is a heart attack on a plate, but that's what makes it good, right? If I still played hockey, I wouldn't have to worry about the calories either... _________________ I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's. His hair was perfect.
