This vid is absolutely beautiful. It made me really look at Kate with different eyes. I tend to view Kate as this ruthless, strong and independent person and she is all of these things but there is also a different side to her, this vulnerable side that I don’t always pay attention to. So I’m glad I saw this vid because I was faced with Kate’s vulnerability head on. The vid basically told me a story about a very broken woman, a lonely woman who’s seeking human things such as touch, love and security, things that a lot of people have and which they ultimately take for granted. What's really funny is that I know that Kate is broken, I’ve seen it for myself on T.V. yet strangely enough (even though she is one of my favourite characters) I’ve basically accepted her on face value, accepted her past and the reasons why she is the way she is without properly thinking about it. This is really strange because normally I like to analysis characters. Anyhow, I think the vid flowed really well together; the whole vid was put together in a very subtle yet effective way. I really hope you get a council pick for this because any vid that actually leaves me close to tears (I didn’t cry because I stopped myself by blinking a lot lol) deserves one  . |
