I'm surprised no one's matched them up yet. I'd make some videos myself but I haven't got a single clue how to! But some examples that have been floating around my skull:

Song/video scenario/lyric excerpts in quotes)

The Killing Moon (Sawyer/Ana-Lucia/Michael)

Seven Seas (everyone and swimming/water scenes, plus "burning bridges with Mother Religious" - Charlie, Eko & The Virgin Mary)

Silver (any couple) "Blind sailors/Imprisoned jailers" (raft scenes?)

The Puppet (Michael)

Rescue (self-explanatory)

Over The Wall ("monkey on my back"/ Charlie's addiction)

There are so many.....

is this a band you speak of, a movie, or what? If there are songs, I would be interested to hear them if you have any!

It's a British rock group from the Eighties.

Pandora's Echo and the Bunnymen station.

LOL Hobbes, they're still around today too. I'd be glad to hook you up with some tunes. PM me. Meanwhile here's a link to some samples on Amazon. I tried to stick with their GH as those are songs I thought most likely people would know.

Filmchick, thanks for the site. I've never seen it before. But how does it work? The only song I see is their cover of All You Need is Love, which sucks.

Simple: Enter a song that you like (or a song that you think is quintessential/stereotypical of them), and it'll find other songs by other artists that follow the same pattern. As in, if you enter The Beatles' 'All You Need is Love' (too lazy to think of another example), it'll probably find different songs than if you entered 'Rocky Raccoon,' because the music of those two songs are entirely different. It's sort of neat anyway.

hey thanks The name caught my eye as it is dangerously close to what I'm plannign for mynext vid, but I'm still sorta deciding on what song to use. heheh. I'll check these guys out a bit though and see if any songs work for me thanks!
Thats an awesome site btw! Very useful for fiuguring out vids! sweet, thanks!
EDIT: AWESOME! Their song "Killing Moon" is one of the songs from this movie! They must have drawn this same parallel too cool, very cool.
(I would tell you exactly what movie this is, but it's kinda a secret at least until a sertain person figures it out.)

(oh, and marcus, if you ever see this thread, that was a MAJOR hint to what vid, heh.)
