Bah, 3 days. I can't even find a release date for it here. All I get is "LATE 2006". Months away, no doubt.. Damn living on the wrong side of the world. |

Only to get a US copy, which my console won't play..
The only good thing is we're trained to be patient Down Under - always waiting for nifty stuff to be released. I think it's a trick the rest of the world plays on us, really.
You have to tell me if it's as good as the first one, when you get your copy, and then pry yourself away from the controller of course. |

I miss Mortal Combat I didn't like the new one. Nothing like a fatality to get ya in the mood. |

Let me put it this way: everything that wasn't perfect about the first one is perfect now Even the gummi ship has actually managed to be fun and entertaining (though still sorta pointless). There was a time lasting of about 2 hours where I thought the game was a bit too easy, too "Disney", and lacking any good fighting, but then I got to fight 1000 heartless at the same time, without cutscenes, with the objective "destroy all enemies" that was one of the most entertaining things I have ever done
The sequel still stands as a masterful blend of cute Disney, angsty FF, and a whole lot of action adventure fighting |

I';m not sure just how far I am, but I'd wager I'm fairly close to beating it I hope not... but anyway.
Tough to say in comparison... they're just.... different heheh. Everything is much more professional and in-depth though, it's like they crammed in several Gigabytes worth of pure graphics just to make things look better, and make up for things like Wonderland lol. They also put a lot of effort into new forms of travel and variation between the worlds, so none of them feel identical.
Lion King world is awesome |

I know people who love Guitar Hero. I can't wrap my brain around it. To me, it seems like DDR - you may as well go out and play the guitar/dance, if you're going to play Guitar Hero/DDR. But maybe it's lost on me.
The greatest video game in the world? EA GAMES' NHL SERIES. It is the only game you need. (But then again, I am a hockey fan/ex-highschool player, so I am likely the target audience for the game, to say the least. I prefer it of a few years back, when the Devils had the optimal register. Not quite as much anymore. PS Carolina Hurricanes must not win the Cup now. There is no alternative.) |

I've heard awesome things about this, and chances are after I see it at this year's PAx I'll be getting it. I think one of the rounds of the Omegathon (the huge prie tournament thing for 10 people) is a round of guitar hero on stage right before one of the concerts heheh. Last year it was karaeoke revolution, and that was so awesome.
Oh and that reminds me:
KATAMARI DAMACY!!!!
thank you. |

The next seriosuy final fantasy game will be on the ps3. Final Fantasy 13. Check this video out: http://media.ps3.ign.com/media/826/826843/vids_1.html
My god those graphics are gorgeous.... I know a lot of it is cinematics, but you see little snippets of in game footage, and my god are they good graphics.....
The Wii is getting a compilation game: Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers. There's a video here:

It looks kind of cartoony, with big headed characters, and the ps3 one definately looks more appealing to me. We'll just have to wait until we see more! _________________
