I don't have a YouTube account, so would it be all right if I used Putfile? Or does that not work for you either? =/ _________________

Ok, I see these old videos coming back to the first page from time to time so I don’t feel bad about commenting about this “older†vid...
I probably saw this one about 20 times since it was posted! I've even put it on a DVD so I could watch it everywhere. This was so different than all the other Charlie/Claire vids I had seen so far. I was so impressed by it that I even made my first post in the PB&J thread at the fuselage back in April with it. (I was a chana shipper at the time)
First the concept is quite original – when most videos focus on Charlie being crazy about Claire and in love with her, it was refreshing to watch a vid that focused on Claire’s need to have Charlie by her side. All the angsty shot of Claire (and I couldn’t believe how many of them there were - how did you do that??!) put together to show her desperation about losing Charlie really created an eerie atmosphere – especially the ones under the rain.
And I believe you were the first one to use the “Claire meditating†to show her remembering Charlie instead of the events in the medical hatch. This really became the standard for this particular scene! And that was quite amazing! I've never gotten too emotional in a vid but this scene is one of the few that kept me from breathing. Amazinly done and the beat use was just perfect and incredible.
I love how you started the vid slowly and then hurried up the pace. You really worked your climax and because of that it had a big emotional impact. The eye opening at 3:30 has got to be my favourite moment of any vid I’ve ever watch. Seeing Claire looking at Charlie waking up just made my heart melt!!
On a more general note, I just can’t believe how you can take any scene, scenes that last merely seconds and make a big deal out of them in your vids. An example in Never Alone is at 0:56 when Claire in putting her head down. It lasts about what? Two seconds in the show? It's really minor... And you made a big deal out of it in your video – really showing Claire’s confusion and sadness.
In conclusion, I was blown away when I saw this video back in April and I never get tired of watching it. It’s a real masterpiece of storytelling and a standard for me to try to reach every time I’m making a video. This vid inspired me to start vidding and I’m so thankful because I finally found something I’m really passionate about! _________________

Awwww! *iz blushing liek woah*
Thank-you, merci, for such a detailed review! You really know how to make a little vidder smile. Man, it is so completely mind blowing that this was the video that got you to start vidding. I don't think I will ever get over that because that's just too amazing, especially considering that you were a Chana shipper at the time and it was a Charlie/Claire video that got your creative juices flowing. That's...just...wow. I'm beyond flattered.
It's so insane. While I was working on the video, I didn't really know what I was going for, and what would be the result. That's never ever healthy, especially if you're trying to tell a story, right?
But I went for it, and let viewers know in a summary that they could interpret the video how they wished, and I still can't believe what they come up with. For you, it was Claire's need to have Charlie around (love that one, btw), and for other people, they assumed that Charlie was dead or that he was her imaginary friend. LOL, it was just crazy, and I still to this day don't know what I was trying to say with this video, which is why I'm so happy that you enjoyed it. It's by far the strangest one I've ever done. Who vids without knowing what will be shown in the video, right?

And that, that right there? That means the world to me, because A) I didn't know what sort of reactions would come from this video, and B) you're an awesome vidder and an equally awesome friend, so to hear why exactly you liked this video so much is really, really great. *hug* Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you! _________________
