I can't save the vid I've been working on for ages *pouts*. Something about virtual memory?? Anyone know a remedy for that? |

I got that once too.
Ummm, you can try saving it in a lower quality. Or try deleting some un-needed stuff from your hardware??
Hope something works... _________________

Make sure that you don't have too many programs running in the background. Virtual memory is the memory your computer uses when you open a program and use it. When your VM gets to clogged, it will give you a warning dialog box. Unfortunately on most computers, the standard memory isn't well suited for video applications. It's weak and sluggish but affordable.
Just make sure there aren't like a million things going while you save the movie. |

The virtual memory warning unfortunately usually means that you're running out of RAM (Random Access Memory).
I upgraded my RAM from 256 MB to 1 GB and now things work just fine. If that's not something you can do right now, though, one thing that you CAN try is to close everything but WMM when you're ready to save as a movie (aka render). |

Had the same problem some time ago. It usually really helps shutting everything down, except for WMM of course
I did the same thing as Aislynn, though, upgrading the RAM to 1GB. Works fine since then, even stupid WMM _________________
